What now??
I turn and see Amber running towards our direction.
"Amber! What are you doing out here?" I ask.
"Mia...thank goodness I found you.... please come..... it's an emergency." Amber says on reaching us. I see her trying to catch her breath.
"What's wrong?" I ask.
"It's Michelle." Amber says.
"What's with Michelle?" I ask.
"I don't know...she just fainted....." Amber says.
"Fainted?? How......." I say.
"I don't know....just come." Amber says.
Now that I've just decided to take a walk with Jace.
Perfect timing!
"Okay, I'm coming." I say.
"Hi, Jace. I'm sorry but we urgently need Mia." Amber says to Jace who I believe isn't happy about the interruption of the walk we were about to take.
"It's okay." Jace replies.
"Jace...umm....I'm sorry. I'll be right back, okay?" I say.
"No problem." Jace says.
"Come on Mia, let's go." Amber says.
I look at Jace apologetically as Amber drags me away.
Inside the house........
"Over here, Mia." Amber directs me towards the center of the living/party room.
I see Michelle lying on the floor almost unconscious with people crowded around her including Caleb who I can't tell if he's even making an effort to revive Michelle.
What the heck happened?????
"Oh my God!! Michelle!! What happened to her? Give her some space you guys!!" I say rushing towards where she's lying.
"Chillax girl......"
I interrupt Caleb.
"What happened to her?!!"
"She's fine. It's just a little after-weed effect......."
"What!!! Did you just say weed?!!!! You gave her weed??!!" I ask.
"Y..yeah....."
"How dare you give her weed!!! Are you crazy...." I yell in anger.
"Calm down...she asked to try it and I gave her what she......."
I interrupt again.
"What she what??? You know she has never had weed yet you gave it to her."
"That's what she wante......."
"You could've refused!!!" I yell.
"How could........"
I interrupt.
"Not another word....Amber come help me get her up, we're leaving." I say.
"The party's not over......"
"I said not another word, Caleb. Back off everyone." I say sternly as Amber and I lift Michelle and start walking towards the door.
"Girl, you're kinda overreacting." Caleb says in a kind of drunken voice.
On hearing that, I leave Michelle and turn to Caleb.
"Overreacting huh? If anything ever happens to her, you're gonna see me really overreact." I say.
