Chapter 13: Broken family..

When they reached home, Meera was standing with a belan..

She whacked Mihir the second he came inside..

Mihir yelped in pain..
Meera:"Itni der Tak kya kar raha tha, pair mein lagi hui hai, walk pe jaake 4 ghante tak na aane ka kya matlab hota hai? Tu kya kar raha tha?"

Anurag giggled and Madhav smirked evilly...

Madhav:"Ye to cricket khel rahe the bacchon ke saath.."
Mihir glared at him, but winced when Meera whacked him,and twisted the ear badly..

Mihir:"Aaaahhh mummy chodo na..sorry"
Meera:"Tujhe yaad bhi hai ki tere pair mein goli lagi thi, rest kyon nahi deta pair ko?"
Mihir:"Arey mumma doctor ne kaha tha na, ek week baad main jo chahe kar sakta hun..."

Meera left his ear and whacked him:"Tu aadhi cheezein sunta hai kya, unhone ye bhi kaha tha ki dard ho sakta hai.."
Mihir hugged her tightly to calm her:"Unhone ye bhi kaha tha ki ho sakta hai...hoga hi, ye thodi kaha, mujhe nahi ho raha tha.."
Meera smiled with teary eyes...her Mihir had hugged her willingly after 13 long years..

She hugged him and cried..

Mihir realised his actions and regretted immediately....he was supposed to distance himself, but he was not able to..
He caressed Meera's back:"Mumma sorry yaar, roo mat na mumma, aap kahoge to nahi khelunga na cricket.."
He said the wrong thing to rile her up..
Meera whacked his back:"Gadha hi hai tu, main uske liye nahi ro Rahi..tune Tera dimag bech Diya kya?"
Before Mihir could say, Madhav said:"Haanji mumma, aur dimag ke badle stupidity le aaye hain.."
Anu smacked him on the head playfully:"Madhu, dimag nahi hoga to apne aap stupidity aayegi na.. inhone dimag bechke overbravery khareed li.."
Madhav whacked him and said:"Right.."
He smiled at him sarcastically and then wiggled his eyebrows at Meera..who smiled and chuckled..

Mihir:"Tum dono ko kya hai, maine dimag nahi becha hai, aur Anu, overbravery koi shabd nahi, you lost.."
He showed him the tongue.

Anu smiled but Madhav said:"Humari dictionary mein to hai"
Mihir smirked:"Kahan se kharidi aisi bakwas dictionary..."
Madhav:"Vo Deepika Padukone ka dialogue hai, aap kyon chipka rahe ho.."
Mihir:"Meri Marzi, bata Kahan se kharidi vo ghatiya dictionary.."
Madhav smirked:"Vahin se, jahan aapne dimag becha.."
Madhav hified with Anu, while Mihir smiled shaking his head...

Meera saw his red ear and felt bad..
She asked, concerned:"Dard ho raha hai Mihir..."
Mihir:"Nahi to, kyon?"
He was confused..

Meera pointed towards his ear..

Mihir smiled and said:"Nahi mumma, utne mein kuch nahi hota, I've seen worse.."
Meera stiffened at the pain his voice held...

Madhav who was about to joke, got serious hearing it...

Anu looked confused..

Mihir immediately covered up:"Mera matlab hai ki training mein hume isse bhi worse pain ke liye ready karte hai.."

Meera nodded, still in daze, while Madhav looked away..

Meera held his hand and made him sit..she eyed at Madhav, who nodded and sat in front of them..

Anurag saw them, and left to give privacy...

Meera asked Mihir very softly:"Mujhe batayega tujhe us raat nightmare kyon aaya, aur tu batata nahi, but tujhe kaafi dinon se bure sapne aa rahe hai na?"
Mihir shook his head, lying:"Nahi, us din aaya tha bas.."

Meera looked at him, she couldn't find any lie in his eyes..she sighed:"Accha ye to bata, kyon aaya nightmare, I mean Madhav ne bataya, you were re-living some incident..kya tha vo beta, army ya fir Sambhav j.."
Madhav:"Vo respect ke layak nahi hai mom.."
Meera glared at him..
Mihir turned her towards himself and smiled:"Mataji aap apne detective bete ki mediator kyon ban Rahi Hain? Usse kahiye khud baat kare.."
Meera was about to say but Madhav beat her to that:"Haan to main puchta hun, kya hai vo incident jisne aapko itna dara Diya hai.."
