When we finally left the room, we were greeted with an adorable surprise. Jace and Alec were sitting on the floor on the opposite side of the hall. Jace's head was on Alec's shoulder, Alec's head on top of Jace. They looked so cute.

"This is too cute," Clary smiled. I put my finger to my lips. She pulled out her phone and took a quick picture.

"Please send that to me." I tried not to laugh.

"How should we wake them? Or should we?" Clary asked. I moved forward kicking Jace's feet. Both of them jerked their heads up. They tried to look alert, but they just looked tired. Clary and I stood in front of them with our arms crossed.

"Alexander, what are you doing in the hall?" I tilted my head to the side.

"You didn't come to bed," He ran his hands through his hair.

"And you?" Clary asked.

"You left the bed, I wanted to know where you went," Jace got up. He offered a hand to Alec helping him up too.

"I needed to know that you were okay," Alec crossed his arms trying to look intimidating after he just said that. I laughed lightly and moved forward kissing him.

"We've gotta do more research on the Morning Star sword," I took his hand. He looked over to Jace.

"We have a date," Jace waved his hand through the air.

"Slackers," I muttered. Clary shot me. They walked in the opposite direction as we headed to the library. Underhill was already in there.

"I would just like to point out I've died and came back, literally and went straight back into work." I looked through the books. Alec laughed as he handed me a few papers.

"And I love you all the more for it," He smiled.

"There has to be a faster way to do this," Underhill sighed.

"I can help with that!" Magnus came in. He waved his hands as yellow magic lifted the papers into the air. The papers flying about. I turned to look at him as he did his little flourish.

"These are all the papers on the Morning Star sword," He held them up. He turned on his heel and walked out. I looked at Alec before we both followed him.

"When did you get your magic back?" He gave me a side-eye.

"I got a little help from Lorenzo," He read over the pages.

"Mag?"

"He's the High Warlock, it's his job," He smiled. "Anyway, it seems it was given to a mundane collector. Liam Janssens. He loved it so much he was buried with it." He turned toward us letting the paper fall to the floor. "Anyone fancy a trip to Belgium?"

I picked up the papers off the floor and put them in the bottom drawer of Alec's desk. We don't want just anyone finding those papers. Alec smiled as he watched me. I knew my way around his desk.
