Dhruv emerged from his room and strolled towards the study room, a faint smile playing on his lips. Gently opening the door, he found students already settled in their seats.

His gaze sought out a specific seat, but the person meant to occupy it was missing. Frowning slightly, he scanned the room with his brown eyes until they settled on the individual.

Kiara, engaged in laughter with another girl, noticed Dhruv's gaze on her. Finally acknowledging him, he raised his eyebrows. “Kiara, I've mentioned your permanent seat is at the front. Why are you seated there?” he asked, gradually making his way toward her.

"When you don't understand something, don't come and say, 'Sir, I didn't understand,' like that," he said before taking the seat in front of her, his eyes never leaving hers.

“I don't want to sit in the front,” she said, pouting a little. Dhruv took a deep breath at her cute action.

"Are you coming or not?" he asked, attempting to act strict, but his heart melted seeing her nervously biting her lower lip.

"No…” Kiara replied, stubbornness in her tone.

Dhruv couldn't help but smile at her stubbornness. He reached for her bag, but Kiara, thinking he was about to hit her, instinctively grabbed both of his wrists before slowly looking up at him.

Kiara's cheeks turned slightly pink at their close proximity. Dhruv's eyes were fixed on her face; he could see her reddening. He felt his own ears burning up and cleared his throat, attempting to maintain his posture. “Okay... leave me now, idiot,” Dhruv said.

Kiara's nail slightly dug into his wrist, making him flinch a little. She immediately noticed and gave him an awkward smile. “Sorry,” she whispered apologetically. Dhruv shook his head at her. “Pagal ladki,” he said, chuckling.

“Look at your face, it's turned as red as a tomato,” Dhruv teased, a mischievous glint in his eyes. Kiara rolled her eyes and gave him a tight smile. Giving her a playful glare Dhruv got up and headed back to his desk.

As Kiara watched him go, a smile tugged at her lips. She observed him walking towards the desk in his white slippers, which looked cute on him.

"Nice slippers, sir. Where did you get them from?" she couldn't help but ask, causing Dhruv to turn back and face her. He glanced down at the slippers he was wearing before picking up his book from the desk.

"I stole them," he replied with a faint, almost imperceptible smirk. Kiara's eyes widened slightly, and soon a giggle escaped her lips, "What the hell? Do you do this kind of thing too?" She laughed again.

Dhruv raised his eyebrows at her, “I stole them from the hotel, so it was basically mine,” he said. All the students present started laughing, which made him chuckle too.

"Kiara!"

Hearing Dhruv’s sudden shout, Kiara got startled and immediately turned around to see him entering the study room, carrying his slippers in his left hand.

"What? What happened?" she asked, clueless about why Dhruv was frowning at her.

"Say sorry."

"But why? What did I do?"

She looked up at him with her innocent eyes, almost melting him at that moment. He gulped before holding out his slippers.

"Do you hide them in the garage behind my bike?" He asked.

Kiara's eyes widened as she realized what he was accusing her of. "I-I might be foolish, but I'm not stupid enough to touch the slippers you stole, especially from a hotel," she said sheepishly, wearing a puzzled expression on her face.

Dhruv shook his head. “Only you can do this stupidity," he accused her. Kiara gasped in disbelief. Vikram giggled a little, "Bhaiya, Kiara ne nahi kiya, Reshmi ne kiya tha," he said, and Reshmi nodded with a grin on her face.

Kiara glared at him before turning to face Dhruv, who was frowning a bit. Once she had his attention, she gave him a sarcastic smile and wiggled her brows. "Now you should apologize," she said, tilting her head up.

Dhruv inhaled a breath and just stared at her. "Why would I say sorry?" he asked. Kiara let out a scoff. "You literally accused me of something I didn't do... now say sorry."

"Such a pain in the ass, sorry!" He mumbled and went towards his desk, not before giving Kiara a last glance.

"What, what, what? What did you say?" she asked, although she heard him very well.

Dhruv turned around and rolled his eyes at her, "I said sorry," he replied.

Kiara smiled a little before adopting an innocent expression, "Sir, I didn't really hear it, say it again," she said, blinking her eyes at him. The others laughed, but one glare from Dhruv silenced them in a second.

"Take out your copies, we'll have a test today," he said.

"Sir!"

"No sir! Kiara, you stupid!"

"Sir, sorry, please!"

"Kiara!!”

"Maine kya Kiya!!!"
