"You said WHAT?!" Veronica squeals, gaining them some strange looks.

Groaning, Megan buried her red face in her hands.

"I said I loved them,"her voice is muffled by her hands.

"That's amazing! Did they say it back?" Veronica says, as bubbly as ever.

"I didn't give them the chance. I practically ran out as soon as I realized I said it. I tell Ashley love you all the time and I've gotten so close and comfortable with them that I think it was just out of habit," Megan sigh, before sipping on some tea that was recommended by Kevin and Richard.

"Well, do you?" She asks, stirring her strawberry smoothie with her straw.

"Do I what?" Megan ask, quirking my eyebrow.

"Do you love them?" She asks.

"I...." She trail off.

Megan hadn't considered that. DID she love them? She enjoyed spending time with them, they had plenty of fun in and out of the bedroom. She hadn't been this happy in a long time. Her past boyfriends had never made her feel this fulfilled. She didn't want her relationship with them to end. Maybe she did love them. But she couldn't admit it to herself. It would just make it harder when they eventually broke up with her. Megan sighed and shook the thoughts out of her head.

"Let's talk about something else. How are you and Brandon?" Megan asks which makes Veronica's eyes light up.

They spend the next half hour chatting about anything and everything. They talk about Megan switching to online school. They talk about Veronica and Brandon, her master, looking for a new place. They talk about how they're both probably going to the club tonight. As they're talking and laughing, two young men walk over. One obviously seems awkward and somewhat embarrassed. The other man seems very confident.

"Hey so, me and my friend think you two are cute. Can we get your numbers?" The confident one asks.

Megan and Veronica glance at each other, not sure what to say.

"That's ok, I'll just give you my number," the confident one says, snatching Megan's phone out of her hand.

"Hey! Give me my phone back," she demand, reaching for it before he yanks it out of reach.

"Maybe. For a kiss," he says with a douchey smirk that makes Megan want to punch him.

All of a sudden, someone snatches the phone out of his hand. The four of them turn to find Charlie now holding her phone.

"I believe she isn't interested," Charlie says with an eye roll.

"You interested?" He asks her, looking her up and down.

Charlie sits next to Megan and kisses her hard before handing her the phone back.

"I'm VERY interested, just not in you," Charlie says with a smirk. "Now you better leave before her man makes it over here."

The boys look to see Brandon storming over from the back of the coffee shop. The awkward one quickly mutters an apology and leaves. The confident one yells after him but then quickly leaves as well.

"He's lucky I didn't lay him out on his ass," Charlie mutters before wrapping an arm around Megan's shoulders.
