Kori and the girls decided to spend the night at Imani's since she lived closer to the airport they still hadn't disclosed where they were headed because they didn't know. According to Maura all Tank told them is that it'd be hot so pack accordingly that's all she needed to hear. The girls stayed up packing and chit chatting they planned to go to the mall early tomorrow since their flight wasn't until 5pm.
"Momo I love the suspense but where we going? Did ya man at least give you the terminal or airline name?" Krissy asked yawning it was 3pm but everyone was exhausted from their last minute trip to the mall and packing.
Before Maura could respond they all got a group text from Blaze instructing them on where to go along with their virtual flight confirmations. "Where the hell is MLE?" Mani asked as she viewed her ticket.
After checking their luggage they decided to grab food and drinks to pass the time. Kori was quieter than usual and had been zoning in and out of the endless girl talk "Kori did you hear me?" Maura asked with furrowed brows. She just shook her head no
"I asked are you excited about Sinn's birthday and the trip? This will be the first baecation for y'all and his birthday mixed into one don't worry we won't hog up all your time we know you wanna spend it with yo maaaaaan boop" she said teasingly.
Kori just gave a tight lip smile which caused the girls to smack their teeth.
"Koko you been quiet as hell and you're giving us the uncomfortable white people smile wassup?" Kori sighed she loved her friends but didn't want to burden them with her troubles.
She felt like she was constantly going through something and hated being the needy friend. So she decided to avoid their concerns this trip wasn't about her anyway and she wanted everyone to have a good time.
"Y'all it's nothing I can't handle let's just enjoy the trip I'm excited and I hope he likes the gift I got. How much was the flight I wanna pay the guys back".
They stared at her in disbelief "You wanna pay our drug dealing besties back? Did you eat one of my special candies today?" Mani asked scoffing.
Kori nervously giggled "We don't count favors Koko you're our friend more like little sister we got you and the guys got you too trust me ya good" Maura assured her.
2 lemon drops later she felt relaxed the girls noticed they lost track of time as they walked up to an almost empty gait. They were the last to board so they didn't catch their destination until the captain announced their departure to Male, Maldives.
Kori's jaw dropped she had no idea they'd be going out the country. "Did he just say Maldives?!" Krystal squealed in excitement.
The atmosphere was filled with excitement and awe as Korianna and her friends arrived in the Maldives. The unexpected luxury of first-class seats and a private villa left them all in wonder. Kori couldn't believe the generosity of her friends.
As they explored the villa, exchanging impressed "oohs" and "aahs," Kori looked around, feeling grateful for the experience. When the decision was made to let her and Sinn have the largest room, she couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions—gratitude, happiness, and a bit of disbelief at the extravagant setting.
The room overlooked the crystal-clear waters, and the sun began to cast its golden hues over the horizon.
