Currently, I'm sitting on Dylan's bed with my legs crossed eating Chinese food. I swallowed my bite of food and sighed. "I'm ready to tell you."
"Really? Okay I'm here to listen to you."
I sighed heavily. "Okay. So before I was born my parents went to a party. Since my mom was nine months pregnant she didn't drink but my dad did. After the party my dad insisted on driving since my mom was pregnant and my mom couldn't do anything. So right away they got in a car accident and they both died. They had to force me out of my mom since I survived. My 'parents' adopted me but told me when I was 12 what happened to my parents since I don't look like either of them and I don't look like my siblings. I was traumatized. I hated them ever since. I mean my 'mom' was never that bad it was my dad who was awful. He hates me and I hate him. But ever since then I was angry at them because I was being lied to my whole life. I guess that's why I'm broken." A few tears went down my cheeks and he wiped them away with his thumbs. He pulled me into a tight hug and then when we pulled apart. When our lips were millimeters apart I said, "Not tonight Dyl." We pulled apart completely and he said,
"Steph, I'm here for you. I'll always be the one to listen when you need to talk. No matter what. I really like you Steph." I smiled and he pulled me into another hug.
"Dyl, I just don't understand. Why me? Why do you like me? I just don't get it. I'm not pretty, no one cares for me, and I just I'm confused."
"Steph. You're the prettiest girl I've ever seen. I always liked you. And I care for you. I don't know why you're confused but it probably has something to do with me."
"Yeah... Well... Sorry Dyl."
"Nah it's cool... Wanna watch tv?"
"Sure..." I said and we went downstairs. We sat on the couch and ended up watching American Horror Story and cuddled.
