In search of true heart

episode 18

After her shift ended, Sashi left the hospital and waited in the hallway for her husband Abhimanyu. She fell asleep waiting for him to arrive. When Abhi walked into the room, Sashi was dozing off on the couch. He realized how many times he'd told her not to wait for him without hearing back. He approached her cautiously, causing her to wake up.

Sashi woke up and wiped her eyes before saying, "You came," as he sat next to her.

"How numerous times must I remind you not to hold out for me? You're free to slumber in our room right now."

"Just let me know why it's so late today."

Giving Sashi his bag, Abhi apologized for the delay, adding, "I'm sorry, I might have messaged you earlier. Today I had an appointment with my clients."

"It's alright, get dressed and clean up while i prepare the table for dinner"

He kissed her on the cheeks and whispered, "Fine, my sweetheart, just 2 minutes," before rushing inside to change.Afterwards, while eating supper together, Sashi inquired about abhi's day. Abhi provided an excellent response. Then he inquired about Sashi's day. After pausing to take a deep breath, Sashi said, "I had attended three surgical procedures today, followed by the partnership meeting."

Abhi enquired, "You were there, but what about the dad?"

"I ought to evacuate since uncle was arguing to someone in his cabinet," .

"Who the hell is that man."

"Saahat, whom I don't know, said that he is a saint."

"My gosh, a saint, when did dad start going to the saints?" .

"I'm not sure either. I need to talk to you about something very significant."

"What was it?" inquired Abhi.

As soon as I got home, I gave your father a detailed account of the meeting. He told me that we would be the bride's parents during the wedding since she was an orphan. In order for you to prepare for the wedding, he suggested that you request a short leave of absence."

"I'm still young, so why is my father trying to make me look old in front of everyone? Exactly whose wedding is it?"

Uma emerged holding a bottle of water. She went to his son and daughter-in-law after overhearing them conversing.

"I have wonderful news to share. Guys, are you interested in knowing more about the groom? You guys are well acquainted with Sashi; he's more of a close family friend. Do you know him at all?"

"What is closer to me?" Sashi enquired.

She remembered after a time, saying, "My mother-in-law is talking about Rajeev."

She answered in shock, "Yes, or else who I referred?" and turned to go. When she heard it, Abhi exclaimed, "Wow, mum, that's wonderful news."

"Pack your things since we're heading to Dharmagiri tomorrow, "Uma stated.

"Well, now that my brother is getting married, I'm incredibly delighted. Shashi said, "And I can't wait to meet the bride who has Rajeev's heart."

" Yes, I'm eager to meet my sister as well. I will arrange to go to Dharmagiri even though I have a ton of work to do." Abhi continued.

He took care of the arrangement after he had eaten. Sashi completed the dinner too, before going to her room to pack. Content, Uma returned to her room.

Shasi is concentrating on packing while Abhi is conversing on the phone. After he returned from his phone conversation, Sashi was preoccupied with selecting her outfit. She was laying her dresses out on the bed, choosing which one to wear to the wedding.
