CINDY sets the USUAL down for CHARLES as COLBY smiles as she sets his down across from him, CINDY taking COLBY'S glass to refill it as CHARLES takes a bite of his burger.
COLBY
So I heard you crashed your car into another car while your assessor was in the car with you.
CHARLES
Not the first time I've done something like that. Hell if I recall, one time you threw one of our Assessors back in the day off of a roof.
COLBY
Into a river bank, the building was going to explode.
CHARLES
Did it?
COLBY
No.
The TWO laugh as ANTHONY comes in, the EYE PATCH gone as his eyes looked good as new, COLBY scooting in as CHARLES smiles at him as CINDY sets COLBY'S drink down.
CINDY
It is good to see you again.
ANTHONY
Likewise. Nothing for me right now thanks.
CINDY
No problem, just let me know.
CINDY heads off.
COLBY
It is good to see you, the eye looks well, TONY.
ANTHONY
Thanks. Man, how long's it been since it was just the three of us? Sixty years?
COLBY
At least that long.
ANTHONY
Wow.
CHARLES
You just missed the others, well sorta.
ANTHONY
What I miss?
CHARLES
Nothing, I'm taking NIKKI, EMMA, and SHANE to the annual STERLING SEMINAR.
ANTHONY
Oh, why didn't I get the call, you know I like those things?
CHARLES
Didn't you have to beg your producers to start production back up on your movie? Besides, I did just get you into a car accident about six hours after you got released from a hospital, I think you can take some time for yourself.
ANTHONY
I was in a bed for six goddamned months, I have had plenty of time to "take some time for myself".
COLBY
He wasn't trying to be voracious.
CHARLES
Look, the only mission we got in today I gave to AUSTIN, it was requested for him to take, which was simple enough and according to this text he already found the guy, so honestly, we have nothing for you in the first place.
ANTHONY
Even if you did, when you did, still wouldn't call me right?
CHARLES
What's going on with you?
ANTHONY
Nothing.
CHARLES
TONY.
ANTHONY gets up and heads off out of the DINER, CHARLES unsure whether to follow or not but COLBY shakes his head.
COLBY
Let him be, some time to himself is what he needs, if you want I can go talk to him.
CHARLES
No you're probably right, he needs to acclimate back into life, I'll catch up to him after the Seminar.
COLBY
Why are you taking them to that, you know it's mostly...
CHARLES
Bullshit?
COLBY
Yeah.
