INT. The TAVERN

AJAX steps up onto a stage as the TAVERN had converted to its JAZZ NIGHTS, AJAX watching as the SPIFFY CROWD were seated about the area as AJAX clears his throat.

AJAX
Now I know we haven't had a performance in awhile, but I'd like to say this is a welcome return. So everyone, raise a glass, clap your hands, and be allured...by the beautiful, and graceful...JOCELYN FREDRIKSSON.

The TAVERN claps and cheers as a VELVET CURTAIN opens and a big BANG begins to play as a lavishly dressed woman, a SIREN rocking a beautiful gown and fine jewelry steps forward towards the mic, the MEN stare enthralled, the WOMEN, equally infatuated also as she winks at them and sways her body, AJAX pouring some drinks as COLBY doesn't seem to be drawn to her like the others, AJAX looking at him with a small smile as he pours him another drink.

AJAX
You're going to want to see this.

COLBY
a SIREN song won't work on me.

AJAX
You never know.

COLBY scoops the drink up as JOCELYN begins to sing.

JOCELYN
(SINGING)

COLBY looked over towards her as the CROWD was eating out of her palm as the band played behind her, JOCELYN looking them over with her beautiful smile, COLBY looking over at AJAX who was watching her transfixed.

JOCELYN looks at COLBY, noticing that he wasn't looking at her with the awe the rest of the patrons were, JOCELYN smiling as she begins to sing towards him.

COLBY smirks and takes a drink as JOCELYN croons out the rest of the song, the CROWD clapping and giving her a standing ovation as JOCELYN smiles but looks concerned as she watches COLBY stand, throw some money down and walk out the door.

INT. SYSTEM'S BUILDING-AZAZEL'S OFFICE

CHARLES steps out of the ELEVATOR as a SOLDIER scans his ID and then allows him in, CHARLES walking in as the CABINET were beginning to adjourn, CHARLES nodding at MAC and ALICIA as they pass, DAVIEL shaking his hand as the HULKING DEMON SURTUR acknowledges him but keeps on. CHARLES stands to the side as the TRIO go over some things with AZAZEL and BURGY, TERESA coming to him as she finally spots him.

CHARLES
What's this all about?

TERESA
You're not going to like it?

CHARLES
Why?

AZAZEL
I presume you are CHARLES REID. The one who leads the UNEVENTFUL RECLAIMING unit that TERESA delegates?

CHARLES
I am.
