INT. THE DINER

SHANE is eating away at a pack of pancakes as he sips at a coffee as the SUN is beginning to peak, CINDY coming inside as the WAITRESS on duty waves at her as CINDY comes over and pats SHANE on the shoulder.

CINDY
Hey, what are you doing here?

SHANE
Trying to eat other things than a burger, did you know these pancakes are fucking delicious?

CINDY
I did actually.

SHANE
Well I'll be here for a little while, I think I ordered another stack or two, I don't remember.

CINDY
Okay, hun. You want another coffee?

SHANE
Nah, can I get a glass of milk instead?

CINDY
Sure.

SHANE
Thanks hun.

SHANE stands as he stretches and yawns, and turns to head into the bathroom but as he does a FIGURE charges him and tackles him through the DINER WINDOW.

SHANE lands hard outside on the pavement, SHANE gasping for air as he lands hard as the few patrons inside the DINER come to the BROKEN WINDOW PANE and look on as SHANE winces and slowly gets to his hands and knees as the FIGURE stands over him, SHANE sneering as an familiar face looks down on him.

VIN, the WEREWOLF smirks as he flashes his teeth and his WOLF tinted eyes.

VIN
Remember me?

INT. CHARLES'S APARTMENT

CHARLES awakens on his couch as the sun was still rising, CHARLES grabbing his head as he yawns and stands, going into the bathroom before coming out a few moments later, yawning as he comes and opens the guest room door, before he shuts it quickly as he notices MEL'S naked backside writhing on top of ANTHONY, CHARLES looking confused as he doesn't know what to think or do as he looks at the door curiously before heading into his room.

CHARLES changes and checks his phone, noticing a few dozen missed calls, all from CINDY as CHARLES looks at it curiously before redialing.

CINDY
(O.S.)
CHARLES, it happened again.

CHARLES
What?

CINDY
(O.S.)
One of yours got thrown through one of our windows.

CHARLES
Oh that. Damn, who?

CINDY
(O.S.)
SHANE.

CHARLES
Who did it? What did he look like?

CINDY
(O.S.)
I'm pretty sure it was a werewolf.

CHARLES
Okay, I'll take care of the damages, thanks for calling me.

CHARLES hangs up and quickly dials a number.

NIKKI
(O.S.)
Ummm...hello?

CHARLES
NIKKI, darling I need you to get up, SHANE is in trouble.

NIKKI
(O.S.)
What happened?

CHARLES
Apparently he was attacked by a WEREWOLF. Assuming someone he knows. Any ideas?

EXT. STREET

VIN tosses SHANE down the road, a few CARS whizzing past them as SHANE rolls a bit and stands as VIN pounces towards him but as he does SHANE rolls back and kicks his legs up, hitting VIN in the stomach and knocking him backwards as he does, SHANE standing as he turns and rushes VIN knocking him down with a tackle as VIN scratches at him, tearing into his back as he does.
