Natash woke up to the soft glow of dawn filtering through the curtains, casting a golden hue over the living room of the Avengers Tower and New York city. Stretching her limbs, she quietly made her way to the common area, where she found Steve already awake, sipping on a cup of coffee. She had hoped to find him here as she usually does in the morning, the two are always the first awake.

"Good morning, Steve," Natasha greeted, her voice a soft murmur in the stillness of the early hour. Her hair a reflection of her mind. A Mess.

"Morning, Natasha," Steve replied, a warm smile gracing his lips as he set down his mug. "Couldn't sleep?"he places the cup down on the side making eye contact with Nat who makes eye contact back as she meanders around the kitchen looking for what Steve can only assume to be her favourite cup.

"Just an early riser," Natasha shrugged, as she reached out the shelf grabbing a mug to make her tea, she then sat down on her stool at the kitchen island next to Steve.

They sat in companionable silence for a moment, the only sound the faint hum of the city awakening outside. But soon, the quiet was broken by the playful banter that always seemed to find its way between them.It always did.

"You know, Nat you're the only person I know who can look that stunning at this ungodly hour," Steve teased, a playful grin tugging at his lips.

Natasha chuckled, a soft blush coloring her cheeks as she registered the unusual confidence Steve was presenting "You're not looking too bad yourself, Captain" she gave him he usual soft smile, the one she only gives him and nobody else.

Their banter continued, each exchange laced with humor and a hint of something more. But before they could delve deeper into their playful repartee, the door to the living room swung open, and Clint strolled in, looking remarkably awake for such an early hour his deadpan face turning into a smirk as he sees the two.

"Morning, lovebirds," Clint quipped, a smirk playing on his lips as he headed towards the coffee machine, mug in hand.

Natasha rolled her eyes, choosing to ignore the comment. "Good morning, Clint. Did you sleep well?"

"Like a baby," Clint replied with a grin, grabbing a box of cereal from the pantry. "Unlike you two, I actually appreciate my beauty sleep."he poored the cereal in the bowl and added some milk before sitting opposite them.

Steve chuckled, shaking his head at Clint's antics. "Well, some of us just can't sleep, you know how it is Clint" Clint just nodded and hummed in agreement "oh by the way" he stopped mid sentence chewing his cornflakes "Starks having a party tonight, you guys up for it?"
Natasha looked at Steve who shrugged and looked back at Clint, "guess we'll be there" Natasha nodded and stood up leave, "Why do you guys always do that?" Clint spoke into his cereal.
"Do what" Steve asked utterly confused
"You know, you always ask eachother before you do something or one wont go without the other, it's cute really-"
"Clint" Natasha Warned through gritted teeth
"Okay I'll stop talking"

The crisp air filled Central Park as Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes pounded the pavement in their morning run. Their footfalls echoed against the trees, the rhythmic sound of their breathing keeping pace with their steps. In what seemed to be a race for dominace.

As they rounded a bend in the path, Bucky glanced sideways at Steve, noticing the furrow in his brow and the tension in his shoulders. Sensing something was amiss, Bucky decided to broach the subject that had been on his mind for a while, this was step one of his plan.

"So, Steve," Bucky began, his voice casual as he matched Steve's stride. "What's going on with you and Nat?"

Steve's pace faltered for a moment, his expression shifting to one of defensiveness before he quickly regained his composure. "What do you mean?"

Bucky chuckled, knowing he had hit a nerve. "Come on, pal. Don't play dumb with me. I've known you too long for that."he grimaced and looked at Bucky.

Steve sighed, his gaze fixed ahead as he continued to run. "It's complicated, Buck. Natasha and I... we're just friends."

Bucky arched an eyebrow, a playful smirk tugging at the corners of his lips. "Just friends, huh? Sure looked like more than that back at the tower this morning." Steve realising Clint told Bucky about earlier looked annoyed.

Steve shot Bucky a glare "It's none of your business, Buck." Bucky couldn't help but feel a little hurt, he had always been there for Steve and he wouldn't even open up to him.

He laughed, nudging Steve playfully with his elbow. "Hey, I'm just looking out for you, pal. You know I've always got your back."his eyes betrayed his smile though, any life behind them a second ago was devoid as he realised his statement went against what he was just feeling.

Steve couldn't help but smile at Bucky's words, grateful for his friend's unwavering support. "I know, Buck. And I appreciate it. But Natasha and I... we're just friends, nothing more"

Bucky nodded, a knowing look in his eyes as they continued their run.He don't want to press on about Natasha but he really needed to know how he really felt, wanda had already read his mind but the three decided they needed solid evidence.

As Steve and Bucky continued their run through Central Park, their conversation was interrupted by the sound of hurried footsteps approaching from behind. Turning around, they spotted a young woman with blonde hair pulled back into a ponytail, her expression tense as she glanced over her shoulder. She looked familair, something about her felt strange though, she didn't smile or frown, she kept a pokerface as she caught eye contact with the men before running in the opposite direction.

"Hey, are you alright?" Steve called out, his concern evident as he and Bucky slowed their pace to a stop, but the woman continued to run showing no signs of
Stopping.Suddenly a group of figures emerged from the shadows, their menacing presence sending a chill down Steve's spine. They were so familair.he felt a wave of what was almost nostalgia, but not the kind he liked.Clad in black suits and bearing the unmistakable insignia of Hydra, the agents seemed intent on capturing the woman at all costs.

Without hesitation, Steve and Bucky sprang into action, moving to intercept the agents and protect the woman from harm. But to their astonishment, before they could even reach her, the woman launched into a swift and devastating series of moves, taking down the Hydra agents with ease. She moved with grace and precision, her moves calculated and ruthless,Bucky recognised the moves straight away, and It was clear that she was more than capable of handling herself, despite her seemingly vulnerable appearance.

Once the dust had settled and the last of the Hydra agents lay defeated at her feet, the woman turned to face Steve and Bucky, her expression unreadable as she assessed them with sharp, calculating eyes.Shelookes them up and down, putting her gun back in its Hollister.

"Who are you?" Steve asked, his voice laced with curiosity and admiration for the woman's impressive display of combat prowess. She reminded.him of Natasha in more than one way. Her moves, her ruthlessness, her one on one combat.
"Ah its the golden boy and his little side kick how cute"
Steve and Bucky looked at eachother their faces the image of confusion.
"Natalia didn't tell me you too were so cluless" she laughed.
