"So, sunny how did you and Aubrey meet?"

Sunny set down her fork and pick up her napkin to wipe her face. She set the napkin back down and swallowed while smiling over at Aubrey's uncle, Steve. Steve was like a second father to Aubrey so he was a huge factor in his life and influenced a lot of his music

"well, we actually met through 40, he wanted me to come work with him on some music that Aubrey will be using for his next album."

"so you make music."

Sunny exhaled out while pushing a pea around her plate, she hesitated but looked back up at Steve before she began to speak

"well, i do alot actually Steve. I sing, ive been rapping a little. but on this tour with Aubrey ive been playing. I'm a pianist."

Everyone in the room went silent after she said she was a pianist, they all dropped whatever utensil they had in there hands except for the OVO crew who wasn't shocked at all because they saw her perform everyday. But the family acted as if she had just told them that she was planning on murdering someone, she looked around confused until her eyes met with Aubrey's, his face said "here we go again". As if on cue the whole family all began to speak out at once, throwing questions and statements at her as if they were paparazzi. Sunny furrowed her eyebrows as she smiled innocently she turned her head and locked eye contact with Stephanie, Aubrey's sister, until she stood up and began to yell out

"HEEEEEY!!! one at a time people my god, sunny cant answer all your questions at once."

The room quieted down as Sandi cleared her throat, she swallowed before speaking up in her small sweet voice

"my father was a pianist, before he died. He was a brilliant brilliant man, very talented."

Sunny glanced over at Aubrey who had a hurt look in his eyes, she looked back over at sandi who was smiling small

"Aubrey used to sit with him while he played...hours upon hours upon hours. It was there thing, he loves pianos but yet he never has learned to play."

That was her answer, right there. Sunny would ask herself sometimes why in the hell Aubrey was so obsessive about her piano playing, why he always wanted her to play for him and only him, why he was so captivated by her fingers running along the keys. That was the answer, he wasn't attached to her playing, he was attached to the memories he got when he heard her play.

"that's amazing, wow. Aubrey i didn't know that."

"its a weak subject for him, but to be in fact his piano is still downstairs, along with his sheet music."

Sunny looked from Aubrey and over to one of his Aunts, Sharon. Before Sharon could say another word Sandi spoke up once again

"i know you probably wont want to but, could you play for us? it okay if you say no but, it would be good to know that you would consider."

Sunny glanced over at Aubrey who was pushing food around on his plate, she then returned her gaze back to Sandi and smiled innocently

"of course, i would be delighted."

The rest of dinner went fairly keen, small talk was tossed around the table as the family asked them all how touring was going, they asked personal questions as well as they wanted to get to know sunny more since they were so busy taking in her beauty that they hadn't had time too. After dinner sunny and Aubrey both lend a hand with the dishes but Aubrey's mother refused to do them and said she would put them in the dishwasher later, after that they hurried down to the basement full of eagerness. The basement was large and very 60's, old rock and roll band memorabilia hanging on the walls, signed posters and sports items, sunny gaze around in wonder as to how cool this place got to be, upstairs it said classy and chic but downstairs said hippy and flower children. It was alot to take in yet not enough time, they stopped walking and in front of them was a large object covered by a black sheet, obviously it was the piano but sunny didn't know what to expect. She could tell from its size under the sheet that it wasn't nearly as big as the one she used on tour because it was an upright piano and mostly because if it was Aubrey's grandfathers it would've been made long long ago. Steve pulled the sheet off as sunny stand back in shock, it was beautifully crafted from a mahogany wood grain and was in great shape from it going back to that year time.

"may i?"

"of course."

They respectfully stepped back as she walked up to the piano touching the hand carved wood softly, it felt cold to the touch like she liked. She liked when pianos were cold because they tended to become hot after she finished playing, she felt as if it started hot she wouldn't play at the same value, It was a superstition she had formed in her mind since she was little and thought she would be that way forever. She sat down on the cold bench seat and picked up the folder on the sheet holder rack, she opened it up and smiled to herself while pulling out the two sheets, she glanced over them then looked up at Sandi

"this is beautiful."

"what do you mean? you haven't even played yet."

Aubrey stood up straight from his position leaning against the wall, he cleared his throat before speaking

"she hears music in her head, without even playing it. She can read notes and hear them how they should sound in her head."

Sunny smile as Sandi give her a look of shock

"ive been that way ever since i was little, so do you want me to play this?"

"please."

"could you...turn the lights out?"

They all looked at each other in confusion but complied to her request, the lights went out and sunny started, blowing there minds all together.
