"Mumma this is not fair at all! Mere birthday k din hi aap dono ko bahar jana tha!?", I said stomping my feet while holding the phone near my ear. (Mumma this is not fair at all! You both had to go out on the day of my birthday only!?)
"Meri pyaari princess mumma papa on the way hai! Humme pata hai meri princess kitni gussa hai humse, paar kya kar sakte hai betu...papa k business partner hai woh, humara jana zaroori tha!", papa said from the other end of the call in a cooing voice trying to console me. I could also hear mumma's chuckles. (My little princess mumma papa is one the way! I know my princess is very angry but what can we do dear....he's papa's business partner, we had to attend!)
"But papa it's my eighteenth birthday! Whatever, please come fast I am waiting.", I said to them pouting.
"Haa Aaru beta hum a rahe hai!", mumma said chuckling and just then a car clashing sound could be heard. (Yes Aaru dear we are coming!)
"Mumma! Papa!", I shouted calling them, but they didn't respond.
After a moment a siren could be heard near our mansion, an ambulance stopped in front of our house and the people took out three bodies. But why three!? The white cloth shifted one by one and I could see my mumma and papa's faces which were completely destroyed due to the accident. But whose body was that?
"Mumma! Papaaa! No! Get up, it's my birthday! Mummaaaaa!", I screamed my lungs out calling them telling them to wake up but they didn't listen to me.
I shifted the cloth of the third body and my breath hitched looking at it. I felt numb and suffocating. Everything around me seemed so empty as if I was surrounded by nothing. I lost my everything!? I lost my Adhiraj. His dead body was lying in front of me.
"Noooo!", I screamed and opened my eyes immediately. I was lying on our bed! It was a dream. I tilted my head to look at Adhiraj but he wasn't there. Where is he? I was completely covered with sweat and tears accumulated in the corner of my eyes.
Suddenly the door opened and he entered wearing his gym outfit. He looked at me with a smiling face and sat down before me. I instantly threw myself in his arms and started sobbing heavily.
"Sweetheart!? Baby, what happened? Why are you crying!?", he asked me caressing my head lovingly. I kept on sobbing in his arms.
"Baby....what happened!? You are scaring me now!", he now asked me in a worried tone. He cupped my face and placed a soft peck on my lips.
"Adhiraj...m...mumma....p....papa....acc....cident...", I managed to speak still sobbing in his arms.
"Aww my baby! It was a bad dream.", he cooed me pecking my head.
