THE UNKNOWN STALKER PART 61....

3rd person's pov-
The morning light trickled through the blinds, casting a gentle pattern on the floor. Y/N stirred in her bed, reaching for the warmth she had felt beside her every morning. Her hand met the coolness of the empty space, and she bolted upright with a gasp. The room was silent, the only sound the steady tick of the clock on the wall. She looked around the room, eyes scanning the empty spaces with a growing sense of unease.
Her gaze fell upon the door leading to the bathroom, slightly ajar. "Jimin?" she called out softly. No answer. She slipped out of bed, her feet hitting the cool tiles as she padded to the bathroom. It was empty. She climbed down the stairs and moved to the kitchen, expecting to find him brewing coffee, but the room was vacant. The faint scent of him lingered in the air, but there was no sign of his presence.
Her heart began to race as she scoured the apartment, calling his name. Panic set in as she realized he wasn't anywhere. In the living room, her eyes caught sight of a folded piece of paper on the floor, right beside the door. With trembling hands, she picked it up. The handwriting was unmistakably Jimin's: "I'm really sorry y/n." She read the words aloud, the ink smudging slightly under her fingertips. Her mind raced with questions, each one more alarming than the last.
Her phone felt heavy in her hand as she dialed the number to his company's secretary. The line rang and rang, the silence stretching out like a tightrope she was about to fall from. Finally, a voice picked up. "Good morning, this is the office of Mr. Jimin Park. How may I assist you?" Y/N took a deep breath and asked for Jimin, her voice a wobbly mess. "I'm sorry, but Mr. Park is not in the office today. Can I take a message?" The words hit her like a sledgehammer. "No, it's okay," she murmured, hanging up the phone.
The note felt like a brick in her hand. She sat at the kitchen counter, her mind a whirlwind of confusion and fear. Why would Jimin leave like this? What could have happened? Her thoughts turned to Taehyung and the dark world she had left behind. Could he have something to do with this? She had felt so safe with Jimin, the realization that she might have been wrong sent a shiver down her spine.
Her mind played out a hundred scenarios, each more troubling than the last. Yet, she forced herself to take a deep breath and consider the most likely explanation. Maybe he had to leave for work early. Maybe it was a prank. Or perhaps he had simply gone for a run and lost track of time.
Convincing herself that his absence was just a misunderstanding, she decided to get ready for the day. Her practical exam at the training center loomed, and she couldn't let Jimin's disappearance distract her. She took a shower, trying to wash away the anxiety clinging to her like a second skin. As she got dressed, she whispered reassurances to herself, hoping that he would walk through the door at any moment, laughing at his own little joke.
But as the day at the training center dragged on, her hope began to dwindle. The practical exam demanded her full attention, but Jimin's absence remained in her mind as fog. Every time she looked at the clock, she expected to see a message from him, an apology, anything. But the screen remained stubbornly blank. The hours ticked by, each one heavier than the last, until finally, the exam was over and she could escape the stifling room.

The practical exam had been a disaster. Her mind was a fog of worry and confusion, her movements clumsy and unfocused. Yet somehow, she managed to pull through, her instincts guiding her through the routine motions. Her classmates had given her strange looks, noticing her distraction, but she'd shrugged it off with a forced smile. All she wanted was to get back home, to wait for him. To find some semblance of normalcy in this chaos.
