THE UNKNOWN STALKER PART 62....
The_seven_signsMeanwhile in kim stone's mansion-
V's POV-
The rich scent of aged wine filled the air as V leaned back in his leather chair, the crystal glass cradled delicately between his long fingers. His gaze was fixed on the wall of screens in front of him, each one showing a different angle of Y/N's apartment. The glow from the monitors bathed the room in a dim, eerie light, highlighting the sharp angles of his face and the wicked glint in his eyes.
On one screen, he watched as Y/N sat on the edge of her bed, her body slumped in defeat, her expression one of raw confusion and pain. The wine swirled in his glass as he took a slow sip, a smile curling on his lips-not out of cruelty, but out of satisfaction. He had done what needed to be done. He had taken Jimin out of the picture, and now Y/N was free, even if she didn't know it yet.
"Ah, my sweet Y/N," V murmured, his voice low and smooth. "You have no idea how much better your life will be without him."
He set the glass down on the table beside him, his fingers tracing the rim absentmindedly as he leaned forward, his eyes never leaving the screen. Y/N's tears, her desperation-they tugged at something deep inside him. He didn't enjoy watching her suffer, not truly, but it was a necessary evil. She was only hurting because she didn't yet understand the bigger picture.
V's other personality, Taehyung, might have been soft-hearted, filled with compassion and love, but V? V knew better. He understood what it meant to protect someone, even if it meant making hard decisions. Jimin had been a threat, a distraction. Y/N had been blinded by her affection for him, not realizing that he wasn't the man she needed. He would have only held her back, tethered her to a life that wasn't meant for her.
A soft chuckle escaped his lips as Y/N's cries filled the apartment, muffled through the speakers but still clear enough to reach him. He leaned back, swirling his glass once more before taking another slow sip. The cameras had been his idea, of course. A way to keep her close, to make sure she was safe. And now, they were showing him exactly what he had predicted. Her world was crumbling, and when it fell apart completely, he would be there to pick up the pieces.
"Jimin was too weak for you," V whispered to himself, his voice barely audible over the hum of the monitors. "He would have only hurt you in the end. But I... I'll protect you. I'll make sure no one can ever take you from me."
His smile widened, the wickedness in it undeniable now. The plan was working perfectly. Jimin had been dealt with-sent away, far from her. The fool had been so easy to manipulate, so trusting. A few well-placed lies, a fabricated business trip, and Jimin was gone, halfway across the world without even realizing he had been played. It was all too easy.
V took another sip of wine, savoring the taste as he watched Y/N finally fall back onto her bed, her tears staining the pillow beneath her. His heart thudded in his chest as he imagined what it would be like to be there with her, to hold her, to whisper that everything would be okay. But that moment would come in time. For now, she needed to learn to live without Jimin, to feel the emptiness, the loss. Only then would she be ready to see the truth-that V was the only one who truly understood her, who could truly protect her.
He stood up, walking over to the window of his mansion. The city lights twinkled in the distance, but all he could think about was her. His obsession with Y/N ran deep, intertwining with every thought, every action. Taehyung might have wanted to love her gently, but V? V knew that love wasn't always gentle. Sometimes, love required sacrifice. Sometimes, love meant doing things the other person would never understand.
"But you will understand, my sweet," V murmured, his reflection in the glass revealing the faintest hint of a smirk. "In time, you'll see that everything I've done is for you. For us."
