Robin's POV

A feeling if relief washed over me when I found out Hazel had some information regarding whoever has been spreading lies to the police.

I swear I will make them pay.

I got in my car and starting driving towards the address Hazel had given me the other day. She said it was urgent. What did she find out?

My driving slowed as I looked around the neighborhood. Nothing but old worn down houses.

Whatever Hazel needed to tell me must be important.

13868 ave...

I started driving extra slow. I didn't want to miss my stop.

Third house of the right.

I wrinkled my nose at the sight of these horrid, ugly , old and plain boring houses.

It looked like a horror movie waiting to happen. People should start filming movies here. I'm serious.

Why would Hazel bring me here? She loved watching horror movies, even though they scared her shitless. Being here would just freak her out completely.

I stopped at the third house in the right. It looked deserted.

I stepped out of the car uneasily and rang the doorbell. It was broken and no matter how many times I pushed, I couldn't get a sound out of it.

My thoughts made me crack a smile. Reminded me of that chick I banged a few days ago. She was a complete mute in bed.

I shook my head. No time to relive the past. I had a case to solve.

I felt like a real detective.

And then I felt like an idiot for even having that thought.

Inpatient, I barged inside and was greeted by......

Cobwebs.

Yuck. Disgusting. Filthy.

I shuddered at the sight of them.

I was about to decide I had gotten the wrong house when I heard a muffled scream upstairs.

Curiosity got the best of me and I went to investigate.

After having to endure the feel of prickly poofy cobwebs on my arms and shoulders, I came face to face with a door.

I was pretty sure the muffled scream had come from there.

I opened the door (had to tug several times to get it open) and entered the room.

There lied Sophia, bound wrist and ankles with a cloth in her mouth. She was lying down on the bed.

I swore I heard another person in the room but my brain was focused on another task.

"How the-"

"GET AWAY FROM ME!" She screeched at the top of her lungs.

"Hold on, I didn't do anything."

"YOU FREAK! YOU OWE $40,000 TO DEMETRI WRIGHT! YOU CAN'T SELL ME! NO ONE WILL BUY ME I'M NOT WORTH ANYTHING!"

I thought about that for a moment.

She knew Demetri now didn't she? Time to have some fun with her.

"On the contrary I could sell your kidney, liver, heart, and get much more than $40,000"

"PIG!"

"I'm just messing with you bitch. How'd you get here?"

Her eyes were burning with intense hate. Who knew why.

"You brought me here!"

I shook my head and laughed.

"You're delusional."

"YOU'RE A PSYCHO!"

I laughed heartily. This girl was entertaining. If she wasn't completely nuts I might even consider screwing her.

"YOU LIED TO ME! YOU HAD A GIRLFRIEND THE WHOLE TIME YOU DATED ME!"

I looked at her in bewilderment.

So this is what's got her all worked up?

"I needed the money okay? Alana framed me for stealing a freaking diamond necklace. I didn't even touch that thing!"

Sophia was crying now.

"You know what I'm calling Hazel. She's your friend isn't she? She'll know what to do with your little mental breakdown."

I leaned towards her to cut the ropes that binded here hands but she screamed.

"Quit screaming! No one can hear you anyways! "

Her eyes were filled with tears. They looked so innocent. I almost wanted to kiss her. I leaned forward- naaahh.

"I'll save that for another time."

I told her with a wink.

I got out a knife and raised it in the air, in an attempt to cut the rope from her wrists but she screamed and rolled off the bed and across the floor like a doll. I dropped down to my knees and kneeled down, my back facing the cabinet.

I raised the knife once more and tried to cut the rope from her wrist.

Suddenly I heard sirens in the distant.

"Hey look you've got some rescuers coming. They'll get this mess all sorted out. I the meantime I'm calling Hazel." I said with a smile.

Turns out I didn't even have to call her since she rang me.

"He-"

"HOW COULD YOU? I TRUSTED YOU? AND THE NEXT THING I KNOW YOU'VE KIDNAPPED MY FRIEND? YOU'LL PAY FOR THAT ROBIN."

Then she hung up. I stared at the screen in shock.

"What the hell was that all about?"

Sophia was still crying on the ground. The sirens were getting closer. Something felt wrong. Very very wrong.
