Hazel's POV

ONE MONTH LATER

"So sweet of you to remember! I can't wait to see you guys either! I actually think the meeting went well."

"Mmm-hmmm."

"Okay."

"Bye Guys."

I shut my phone off as I wandered around the busy streets of London. I had just finished speaking with Harley, Celeste, and Sohpia. They had greeted me a happy birthday, something I had completely forgotten due to my hectic schedule.

I just arrived here from HongKong and it's been an entire month since I've seen home.

I miss home...

I had two weeks left until I could finally go back. The business meetings and conferences have gone pretty good so far. They have been tiring as hell, no doubt. But pretty much worth it.

A couple co workers of mine gestured for me to follow them. I'd suspect they were heading back to the hotel.

I shook my head no. I'd head back later. It was still light out.

I walked around the streets for a while , just window shopping.

I wasn't quite sure what time it was back home. I really wanted to call Danny. I missed him so much.

Of course I would never tell him that out loud, his ego would then catapult to the size of the airplane I rode on earlier today.

He and I have been conversing a lot throughout the past few weeks. Skype, Facebook, twitter, you name it.

Nothing had changed between us though. We still insulted each other and made jokes occasionally. We didn't go all lovey-dovey on each other and for that I was glad. I didn't want us to change that much.

Suddenly my phone began ringing uncontrollably. I fumbled around for a minute before finally managing to press the answer button. A couple of locals gave me funny looks but I brushed them off.

"Hello?"

"So a little birdie told me it was your birthday today."

"Tommy?"

"The one and only."

I had to admit, I was a tad bit disappointed. I was hoping Danny would call me and wish me a happy birthday.

"What do you mean a little birdie told you? Don't tell me you didn't remember your own sister's birthday?"

I said jokingly.

"Oh relax. I knew it was... this month. Facebook was a dear and it reminded me."

I laughed at his response.

"So , just called to wish my incredibly wonderfully magnificent sister, a happy birthday."

"That's one too many adjectives. Any particular reason why that is?"

" I may or may not be hoping that you'll buy me a souvenir."

I laughed again.

"So, I gotta get going. I'm not supposed to be on the phone. Apparently I'm grounded. Bye!"

I panicked at his sudden goodbye, I still needed to tell him something.

"Wait Tommy!"

"Yeah?"

"Thank you."

"Don't you dare get all lovely dovey on me. I'm to equipped to deal with those kinds of situations!"

I heard some commotion on the other end of the phone and it seemed like someone was yelling at someone else.

"Crap. Okay I really really need to go. Bye love you!"

"And you say don't go all lovey dovey."

I said with a laugh before shutting off my phone.

However before I was given the chance to put it back in my purse it made a cute little buzzing sound, indicating that I had a text.

Look up

It was from an unknown number.

So I looked up, only to get the surprise of my life.

On the rooftop of a huge building in front of me, there was a very very familiar person waving his arms at me.

Oh my God....

I couldn't stop the grin from spreading on my face, even I wanted to.

Just as I was about to call out his name , and demand what he was doing there, a huge tarpaulin rolled down.

It only had three words on it.

The three words that I had heard so many times today but when he shouted it out loud it felt as if I was being greeted for the first time today.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY HAZEL!"

Oh Danny, the things you do for me.
