Chapter 5

Authors P.O.V:

It was the next morning and everyone was tensed at the Mehra Software Company. Juggling papers back and fourth, getting back on track, and panicking upon their bosses arrival.
Everyone was staring at the watch making sure everything was perfect and on time. In their heads they counted down to 5 seconds, or should we say counting down to their deaths?

The doors opened and a young, dashing, business man entered the room. By the looks of his face he was the perfect marriage material but that's just based on the looks. He stopped looked around to catch any imperfections, as to his thought he caught one.
He calmly walked over to a young man who was smiling and was really excited for his first day.

"Do you know who I am?"

"Yes of course you are Dev Mehra!!" The young boy cheered.

"Yes I am. You new here?" Dev asked.

"Yes sir." The boy said meeting Devs eyes.

"Well, first thing is first never ever look me in the eye. Second, change your shirt. Third, you are fired!!" Dev said loudly.

The boy stared in disbelief and was confused but Dev moved on. The boy looked down to his shirt and noticed a tiny coffee stain that his mom had accidentally spilled on him. Dev backed to the boy and said one last thing, "I don't give second chances so get out!!"

The boy walked away in tears and out the building.

"Come on guys!!! Move it!!!" Dev yelled.

His manger was walking side by Dev and telling him about the company's finances. Dev was happy with the results he had done a good job with the company.
Which pulled a plus point to his side because his grandfather had decided that in a month he would announce the rightful owner of the Mehra business.

"Sammy? Where is my assistant?" Dev asked the receptionist without looking at her.

"You have a new assistant and she isn't here yet bro because I told her to come later..."

"Sanjana? Where is Sammy? And why are you here?" Dev questioned.

"I gave Sammy a break and don't worry your assistant will come shortly I called her at 12:30pm." Sanjana answered.

"If you weren't my little sister I would've fired you!" Dev barked.

"Bhai (brother), sometimes all I think you do is fire people!" Sanjana teased.

Dev rolled his eyes and ignored her because he had work to do.

Sandhyas P.O.V:

"Umm...I am scared!! I have only heard bad things about Dev!!" I said.

"They why do you like him?" Jai asked.

"Sandhya! You can't know someone until you actually see them and get to know them so stop jumping to conclusions!!" Akira yelled.

I had decided to put my contacts in expect for my glasses because I couldn't find them anywhere.

"Anyways I'm going!!!" I yelled waving goodbye.

Akiras P.O.V:

"So what's your plan today?" Jai asked.

"I'm going to spy on Sandhya and Dev." I said proudly.

"You just don't stop do you?" Jai asked.

"Nope!!" I said eating my apple.

"Akira this is a bad idea. It's been an year it has been too long." Jai said trying to talk Akira out of Sandhyas incomplete love story.

"Jai stop! I told you I'm fine and plus you are right it has been too long I need to fix a untreated wound."
