Just in fairy tales

Once upon a time

That's just in fairy tales

There was a happy family

This is a lie

They lived near the woods

This can happen in real life

The children loved to explore in the woods

It isn't fantasy any more

Each day they'd go further into the woods

The possibility of change

One day they reached the center of the woods

Is nowhere in sight

They found a cave and went inside

The discovery begins when they begin to discover

Wonders awaited the children inside

The truth will be revealed in the future

They walked deeper and deeper in the cave loosing light as they continued to explore

If we keep looking will we find danger or hope

They reached the center finding another tunnel with light at the end of it

The search begins in the beginning if we choose to begin the search

At the end of the tunnel they found a meadow

But we discover more than what we were looking for

In the meadow they saw a mysterious creature only spoke of in fairy tales

We find a missing piece of what we thought to be a completed puzzle

The children went up to the creature

A piece we never thought to exsist

They played with it for what seemed like hours

We'd connected the wrong dots

But the creature had to leave and so did the children

Creating the wrong image

They bid their goodbyes and headed home promising to meet again every day

Of what we believe to be real and fake

And they did meet again everyday until the end

The stories we are told to be fantasies could be real and the stories that are told to be real could be fake

And they lived happily ever after

We could prove fairy tales real if we tried

The end.

But only until we reach our end.

I hope you saw that this was basically a short (extremely short) story and a poem to ponder.
