I Can't *

I can't write without crying
Can't live without dying
I can't fight without trying
And I am not lying

I can't listen without my ears
Can't worry with all my fears
I can't make it through the years
All my body does is steers

I can't understand unless you talk
Can't move before I walk
Like the rain washes chalk
I can't fake the small talk

I can't use my eyes just to see
Can't fly away like a bee
I can't sail a ship across the sea
If only I weren't me

I can't smile without believing
Can't run without leaving
I can't see the load you're heaving
Because, oh, this world is deceiving

I can't do a lot of things
Can't jump right off the swings
I can't hand all the slings
Because I don't have wings.
