Alone a soul is dull
Lifeless
It has no purpose
No meaning
Its simply a soul
With no figure
Or body
To live within
But when its not
Just a soul
It holds secrets
And character
A soul can be dark
And mysterious
Or it can be light
And beautiful
A soul has a song
Or a voice
It tells one what to do
And what not to do
It hurts when
One does wrong
It tugs and pulls
At their heart
It leaps with joy
When something
Marvelous happens
It brightens
Mysteries unknown
Secrets hidden
With the bests of efforts
Darkness battles light
Corruption of the soul
Can destroy a being
And once the soul is gone
The being is no longer living
Keep in the light
Shut out the dark
Be kind and gentle
Don't torture your kind
Extinct souls
Never return to a being
They roam alone
Wishing for a home.
