We are trees
Our leaves living
In the spring and summer
As we enjoy life and fresh air
We are trees
Our limbs falling in a strom
Just like we fail
Sometimes during struggle
We are trees
Our leaves fall off in autumn
The time when we miss the
Warmth of spring
We are trees
And our roots run deep
We are wary of other roots
Not to get tangled
We are trees
And we must be careful
Where we shade
Because we could shade other trees
We are trees
String and sturdy
Until the wood chopper comes
And chops us down
