I have a human soul tree
Friends is all we are
I talk to him and him to me
But we haven't gotten far
I yell his name
But he doesn't respond
Did I just claim
That we had a friendly bond
Human soul tree
I miss you when you never reply
Do you wish to be free
This isn't my goodbye
I cannot leave your side
But are we still friends
I don't know you cried
I'll try to make amends
I have a human soul tree
His name I won't tell
But friends are we
And, oh, how he fell
Me and Tree
Someone to hug on a rainy day
Him and me
As friends is how we will stay.
