Kyla's.

That same day that Aleign visited me, we also spent our night together. We had a sleepover in my room.

Apparently, she will leave during the semestral break. And after our first year of college… they will move in the States… for real.

Nakakalungkot, sa totoo lang. Aleign was the only friend I had. At least, the most genuine friend I had. At malalayo pa siya sa'kin. Months from now, we will be far away from each other. I also told her that I'll visit her in the States when I got the chance.

"Are you sure you don't want to tell Charlie about this?" I asked her in the middle of the night.

We need to sleep early dahil may pasok pa bukas. Her uniform will be delivered by his driver tomorrow.

"Malalaman niya rin naman, Kyla. I will spill it after the competition."

"No. What I mean is, don't you want to tell him that… you're really Lei? The girl who messaged him?"

"I know I made a mistake and it's so stupid of me, Aleign. If only I can turn back the time, I would really change what happened. But, unfortunately, I can't. And, now, I am facing my consequence. Matatali na rin ako kay Charlie. I never thought my stupid action will lead into this," may pag-sisisi sa boses na sabi ko habang napapa-buntong-hininga. "Ayokong lokohin pa siya, Aleign. I will accept it if he'll get mad at me, I just don't want him to always get the wrong idea."

"Just let him, Kyla," she blurted out all of a sudden that made me stop from talking. "I have long accepted the fact that we can't be together."

I let the silence reign between us. Until, she spoke again.

What's the use of it if I'll just be separated from him after months?" she chuckled painfully. "I also don't want him to suffer in a long distance relationship."

I can't help but to get up from the bed and sat infront of her. "Where's the positive Aleign I used to know? Come on, don't give up on your dream guy that quickly!"

Even in a short period of time, I have known Charlie and he's really a good guy. I know he is deserving for Aleign and Aleign also deserves a guy like him. If I need to be a cupid to the both of them, I gladly will. If this is how I can clean up the mess I made, I'll do it in a heartbeat.

"Come on, Aleign. Charlie is a graduating student. And by that time, you will move to States. He can follow you there! He can build his own business in the States and you two can be together! You two don't have to suffer in LDR shit," pangungumbinse ko pa sa kaniya.

"It will happen if it is really meant to happen. Sa ngayon, ayoko na muna siyang guluhin."

Her last words before dozing off to sleep. I pouted and sighed before deciding to sleep too.
