"I love you too Josh." I softly spoke into his shoulder.

He quickly picked me off my feet and spun me around once, and then twice.

Putting me back onto my feet, he grabbed my hand and started walking back towards the pack house.

"Come on sweetheart, let's go spend some time in bed." He chuckled and pulled my arm to drag me along.

I heard Kara's soft laugh ring out from behind us. I turned my head and yelled back at her. "It's not what you think!"

I was just greeted with more laughter. Josh chimed in.

"It's exactly what they think." He laughed some more.

"No." I said with a yawn. "I'm going to sleep, and don't even think about trying to get me to do anything. I'm too tired."

He yawned too. "Alright. I'll just sleep next to you." A beautiful smile graced his face.

"And Kiran."

"And Kiran." He agreed.

He swept me up and into his arms. Holding my body close to his firm chest.

A sigh escaped my lips as I closed my eyes. Taking in all his warmth.

"You ok?" He asked, still walking towards the house.

"Yeah." I muttered happily.

I felt him rise as we walked up the stairs to the porch. He then proceeded to hit my head on the door walking into the building.

"Fuck." I cried out. Opening my eyes and moving my hand to rub the back of my head.

"Oh crap, sorry. I wasn't paying attention." He mumbled sheepishly.

"Maybe you should put me down." I suggested. That would leave a nice bump.

"Yeah, probably, sorry again." He looked like he felt bad.

"It's ok, it just hurts." I said as he put me back on my feet. "Thanks."

"I'm sorry Haven." He told me again.

"I know." I smiled at him. "Let's go to bed. We're too tired."

"Ok." He agreed and let me drag him to my room. When we walked in, there was something different about it.

"Why is there a double bed in here?" I asked, confused. I'd only been gone for an hour or so.

"I got one brought in for all of us." Kiran swung around in my chair.

"No, we got one brought in." Josh corrected.

"Who'd you ask?" I wondered out loud. Who's normally awake at this time?

"There were some omegas downstairs and we asked one of them. They're pretty helpful for their level." Josh told me, flopping onto the large bed.

"Josh, omegas aren't any less useful than other wolves. We treat them equally and they are trained equally. One of our strongest warriors would be classified as an omega by the rest of the werewolf community." I told them.

"Sorry Haven, we don't disregard them but at the sizes of our packs, it's just harder to find the weaker ones a spot." Kiran told me gently.

"They're not weaker if you treat them the same." I said, pulling off my shirt and grabbing some underwear.

"Stop Haven." Josh groaned loudly.

"I'm getting changed to sleep." I told them both.

"Hey, where are your clothes from earlier?" Josh asked observantly.

"I dunno. I'll find them when I wake up." I said with another yawn. I pulled on a shirt and climbed into the warm, now double, bed.

"I love you as much as I love carrots." Josh said randomly.

"I didn't know you loved carrots." I said, making myself comfortable as Josh wrapped his arms around me.

"Oh, he's loved carrots since he was about 5." Kiran told me with a humorous smile.

"What's so good about carrots?" I asked Josh, curiously.

"Carrots are just... Perfect. There is something about their orange, deliciousness, that attracts me to them." Josh said, looking into the distance.

"Are you a horse?" I asked curiously.

"I'm not a horse!" He exclaimed with a frown.

"Then why the long face?" I asked seriously, before Kiran and I simultaneously burst into laughter.

"Shut up." He mumbled, rolling over. I moved to lie on top of him. Although, that was extremely difficult as he was lying on his side.

"Josh. Honey. I was joking." I told him softly, before I heard the soft snores coming from him.

He was asleep.

How do you fall asleep that quickly?

Kiran climbed into the bed, pulling me towards him. "We need to talk in the morning." He told me, he sounded tired.

"It is the morning." I smiled, tired.

"Well, later in the morning. When we're awake and not ready to pass out." He said. Closing his eyes.

"Ok." I agreed and closed my eyes too. Soon drifting off into dream land.

There was a dark room. Dark and cold. Musty as well, like it was someone's old basement.

Why was I here?

And I was extremely conscious in this dream.

Why?

I had a bad feeling about what was happening, and where I was.

"Hello?" I heard myself yell out.

There was no answer. But I could feel an awful presence surrounding me.

"Oi. Whoever had the guts to..." I tried to pull my hand up to my mouth. They were bound together. "....tie me up. Answer me." I yelled out.

"I've done, and will do, more than tie you up, Haven." A slimy voice answer me.

"Who are you?" I growled at the disgusting creature.

"If I told you, I would be compromising myself. Wouldn't I?" He asked me, not stepping out of the shadows.

"Wouldn't you just assume I wouldn't get out?" I asked him, sarcastically.

"I guess you just assumed I would tell you who I am, my plan and what I am going to do to you. Am I right?" He asked, I could hear him moving around in the shadows.

"Isn't that what all you psychopaths do?" I asked him with a sneer.

"You're cocky, aren't you?" He laughed a disgustingly evil laugh.

"I know you won't be able to keep me here forever. I'll escape, or I'll be rescued. The bad guys never win." I told him confidently.

"Wow, you watch way too many movies." He laughed at me.
