Lauren's POV
"Lauren."
I hear someone sounding an awful lot like my mother calling my name, maybe I was dreaming. I cuddled up to Camz ignoring the sounds of my mother, I was just in limbo between being asleep and awake and my dreams are just peeking through.
"Lauren." I hear her voice again.
Was she really here why the hell was my mom here she doesn't ever come over uninvited, and she was in my house? I would have gotten up but I was so damn tired Camila and I were up late laughing about stupid shit and stealing more brownies from the kitchen, before actually falling asleep.
"Mommy, nana's looking for you."
I could hear the door to the room opening and little footsteps walking towards the bed.
"Lauren, there you are I have been calling you." My mom says sternly.
I feel Camila pop up beside me I guess frighten by my mom's outburst.
"Oh, Camila I didn't realize." I hear my mom say in shock.
"Hello Clara." Camila said sleepily.
I finally opened my eyes and looked at my mother. "Mom what are you doing here at eight o' clock on a Saturday?" I groaned.
"I have been trying to call you to tell you I wanted to get Kenzie for the day and when you didn't answer I thought something had happened." If I don't answer on the first ring my mom immediately thinks that I'm dead, seriously.
"Mom I'm sleeping that's why I didn't hear the phone, and no you cannot have Kenzie for the day I have something planned for us." I said.
"Alright, well since I'm here I'll fix you girls some breakfast." My mom said.
"You don't have to do that." I said.
"I insist." No arguing with that.
"Okay mom."
"Come on Kenzie you want to help nana with breakfast?" She asked the little one.
"Yes." She said and I could hear here leaving the room with my mom.
"Should we get up?" Camila asked.
I pulled her to me and cuddled up to her. "No, it will take a while for her to make breakfast because you know she does like a spread. So let's get a few more minutes." I said.
She lies back down on the pillow and puts her arm around me, my head lay on her chest and our legs were entangled and I knew I wouldn't be comfortable doing this with anyone but her.
"Stop." Camila murmured.
"What? I'm not doing anything." I said confused.
She starts giggling. "Lauren I'm not playing stop."
"What am I doing?" I asked completely in the dark.
I feel Camila grab my hand that was resting on some exposed skin on her back. "You were running your nail over my back, I don't think you realized you were doing it but that is a tickle spot for me." She said letting go of my hand.
I laugh a little. "Sorry."
"It's okay." She smiles at me.
I could feel the baby moving he was always active in the mornings, but that didn't start until recently his movement before was very seldom at first.
"What is that poking me?" Camila asked.
"It wasn't me I swear." I teased.
"Then who was it, there it goes again." She said looking at me. "Is that the baby?" She asked.
