Camila POV

"Isn't this cute?" Lauren said holding up a little baby outfit.

We were out shopping today for the kids even though Lauren had plenty of things she felt like a little bit more wouldn't hurt.

"That is really cute." I agreed.

"I can't wait to put it on him; you think he'll look cute in it." She said.

"I'm sure the little prince will be cute in anything you put on him." I said.

"Little prince?" She smiles. "Is that what we're calling him?"

"Well he doesn't have a name yet so yeah we're going with that for now." I said to her.

"Mommy, are we leaving soon I'm bored." McKenzie whined.

"Well we have to get some stuff for you because you're starting school next week, don't you want new things for school." Lauren said to her.

"But mommy it's so boring." She pouted up at her.

"I know baby but we have to do this today." She said. "You get to pick some pretty dresses that should be fun right?"

"No I don't want to do that, I want to leave this stupid place." She fussed.

Lauren gave her a firm look. "McKenzie Lyn, we do not say that word do you understand? Saying bad words aren't going to get you what you want; this is what we're doing right now and you need to wait until we're done." Lauren scolds.

Lauren wasn't a fan of discipline but she knew that she had to do it or she would have an out of control kid. But Lauren's stern look straighten the little one up quickly she knew not to test her. She never yelled neither it was no need she didn't want to teach her daughter that she needs to yell to get her point across just a firm tone. I agreed kids learn from their parents and if she's yelling at her all the time that's the way Kenzie would communicate in the future with others.

We continue to shop and we got no more complaints from the little one she was a good kid but every kid has their ways. She wasn't out of hand like a lot of children I know, I am in pediatric care so I know a bad kid when I see one and McKenzie was the cream of the crop any parents dream.

"Lauren you have been on your feet for a while now we should go somewhere and sit." I tell her.

She looks at me. "Yeah that seems like a good idea."

We had to find a place outside we were at a shopping outlet so we were outside when we weren't in a store. It was also smack dab in the middle of summer and this Miami heat wasn't a joke and I didn't want Lauren to get overheated or dehydrated.

"There is a bench over there in the shade come on." I said.

I held onto Kenzie's hand then I lead us over to the bench and Lauren sits, looking in her face I could see that she was a little flushed, so I'm glad I got her to sit.

"Do you have a hair tie? Why don't you put your hair up okay?" I said to Lauren.

She nods then puts her abnormally thick hair in a ponytail.

"Here Kenzie sit by your mommy I'm going to get some water." I said.

I placed the shopping bags down by Lauren and I made my way to the nearest vending machine. I take out my credit card and put it in the machine and got two bottles of water, and then I made my way back over to them. I sat down next to Kenzie and I undid the top on the water and handed it to Lauren.

"Thank you." She said.

"You're welcome." I said to her.

"Did you get me water?" Kenzie asked.
