Today my parents were hosting a cookout it was going to be the last of the summer. Since the Erin incident Camila and I have talked to her and we thought it was best for now only associate when it has something to do with the kids. It was crazy because I considered Erin a close friend and I hate that she messed that up. Maybe it was repairable but it wasn't at the moment, by kissing me she messed with the integrity of my family and that's not something I could let go of so easily.
The next day I explained to Kenzie what happened and she understood, I thought it was a good teaching moment also. I told her not to jump to conclusions; she needed to hear someone out before making hasty judgments. I told her that accusing someone wasn't good and I told her that it made me feel bad when she thought I did something to hurt her mama.
It was all water under the bridge and things were fine now, or at least they were for the moment. I'm just always a bit skeptical because just when I think things are going fine something happens again.
I was in the nursery with the twins trying to get Evan to smile.
"Evan baby smile for mommy." I said encouraging him but he wouldn't.
Meanwhile Isaac was right beside him with a big smile on his face, Evan was just so serious but it was the cutest thing.

"I will get a smile out of you Evan Tyler." I said scratching his belly playfully.
Evan just gave me a warm coo and I couldn't help but smile at his seriousness.
"We should get going; Clara's already calling asking where we are." Camila said walking into the nursery.
"It doesn't start until three it's one thirty, why does she do that. That woman I swear." I said shaking my head.
"It's Clara what do you expect, plus I could hear my mom in the background encouraging her." She shared.
"The dynamic duo, our mothers are a force to be reckoned with." I said picking up both babies, which I have gotten really good at.
"Let me take one of them." Camila said with a smile taking Evan. "Hola mi hermoso niño." Camila says to him and I could hear Evan cooing, he never smiles but he talks a lot.
"So do you want to just go, or wait for my mom to call again?" I asked.
"Yeah we can go, we have the diaper bags packed and Joey has a change of clothes and underwear in the SUV. Joey and the girls are ready so yeah we can go; oh, are we taking Milo?" She asked.
I shook my head. "No, Simba cannot be home alone so Milo stays here."
"Alright, so let's load up some kids." She says.
"Let's do it." I said giving her a smile and I started to leave the room but Camila stopped me. "What is it?" I asked her.
