Lauren's POV

I didn't know what to think honestly I was at a loss for words, I thought at first this was some kind of joke but he looked exactly like David.

"How old are you?" I asked him snapping out of it.

"Thirteen." He said.

I breathed a sigh of relief. "Babe let's get the kids down for their nap. Ryland was it, why don't you come inside and sit." I told him.

"Okay." He said picking up his duffle bag.

Camila and I put the kids down for a nap and we told Kenzie to stay in her room for a little while, but I knew that she would most likely go to sleep also. I was walking out of Joey's room and bumped into Camila coming out of Tatum's room.

"Do you think he's telling the truth, do you think that's David's son?" Camila asked.

"Do you think he's telling the truth, do you think that's David's son?" Camila asked

"I can't be too sure but if he's thirteen he could very well be his. I met David twelve years ago and I wasn't his first." I told her.

"Alright, so I guess we should see what's going on with him. Did you note the bag that he was carrying?" She said.

"Yes I did, come on. We already have bad news to tell him." I said.

We had to go and tell this little boy that the guy he believes is his father is dead and I didn't know how he was going to take that. Camila and I walked into the living room where we left him and I could hear the boy laughing.

Camila and I looked at each other before turning our attention to the boy who was getting smothered with dog kisses from Milo. It was a bit strange because it takes a little while for Milo to warm up to strangers, even when he does he's never all over them like that. The way Milo was acting right now reminded me of how he acted with David when he was still alive.

We walked over to the couch where he was sitting he didn't notice us because he was fascinated with Milo, who was acting like a puppy.

"You're such a cool dog." Ryland said petting him.

"Ryland." I said to get his attention.

He looked up at me and Camila and I gave him a friendly smile.

"Sorry, was it okay that I played with your dog?" He asked he was really polite.

"Yeah that's fine, he seems to really like you." I told him.

He smiles. "I really like him."

Camila and I took a seat.

"Well we didn't introduce ourselves but I'm Lauren, and this is my wife Camila." I told him.

He looks at us both. "Oh, so I'm at the wrong house." He said about to get up but I stopped him.

"No you aren't at the wrong house, David did live here actually I was his wife." I shared.
