--Sorry that this is late I just got a bit distracted this week. Enjoy: )

Camila's POV

"Camila come on, you don't want to be late for our first ultrasound do you?" Lauren called.

I walked out of the bedroom with my bag and followed the sound of her voice I was ready and we had plenty of time she was just really anxious today.

"We aren't going to be late Lauren." I told her when she finally came into view.

"I'm just really excited we get to see our baby for the first time." She said with a giddy smile.

I couldn't help but grin at her cuteness. "I'm also excited. I think it will give me some relief to see the creature that has been causing all my sickness." I joked.

Lauren gave me a squinted look. "Our baby girl is not a creature." She walks up to me and touches my belly the squats down in front of it. "Don't listen to your mama, she just hates that she doesn't really have any control over her body."

I laughed because it was true. "I guess it's not so bad, her mommy takes very good care of me."

"I really hope that it's a girl, we keep referring to the baby as her." Lauren said pulling me closer to her.

"I think that it will be, but we still have several weeks before we find out." I said.

"Well until then I would like to just see our baby, are you ready to go?" I don't think I have ever seen Lauren this anxious before.

"I like seeing you so excited." I said giving Lauren a smile.

"Of course I'm excited, we're having a baby." She smiled widely.

"You know we're technically having two babies." I reminded.

"I know, and I'm excited about him to I really am. It's just so much easier to show my enthusiasm when my child is actually right here with me." She admitted.

"Honey, I don't really get what you're saying." I said confused.

Lauren places her hand on my belly. "This baby is here with us, I'm here every step of the way that's why it's easier. When our son is in our arms it'll be easier to show how excited I truly am."

"That makes sense." I said leaning in to give Lauren a quick kiss on the lips. "I'm ready to go." I told her.

She takes my hand then looks at Milo who was just chilling on the couch. "Milo, hold down the fort."

The dog gave her a lazy bark then lays back down; Lauren set the alarm before we both left the house.

Lauren and I were sitting in the waiting room at the doctor's office; she was ready to see the baby while I just sat there patiently. I was excited to see the baby also but I had more patience than Lauren. I guess I have to have the patience to keep up with her mood shifts. Lauren and I were having a conversation about the adoption hearing this Friday and the kitten that we found for the kids, when we were interrupted.
