"Dinah you don't understand it has to be amazing."
"It will be you just need a plan." Dinah responded.
Dinah and I were out to lunch on our break and we were discussing what I should do for Lauren on our wedding anniversary.
"So how long do you have until your anniversary?" She asked.

"About eleven days." I shared.
Dinah nods then takes a drink of her water. "Since I'm an insane romantic I'm going to give you some quality stuff."
"Great, I'm listening." I told her.
"You said that you have eleven days until your anniversary is that from today?" She asked.
"If we include today it will be twelve." I replied taking a few stabs at the lettuce in my salad.
I could see her thinking she tucked in her lips before looking at me.
"Okay, I think that you should do something everyday leading up to the day." She suggested.
I looked at her curiously. "You've pique my curiosity."
"So you have twelve days until your anniversary, and that can represent the twelve months that the two of you have been married. So I think that you should give her a flower everyday up until your anniversary attached with a little note." She proposed.
"Dinah that sounds absolutely perfect she will love that, should I do a different flower each day?" I asked.
"Yes you should definitely do different flowers, but that's just leading up to the anniversary. So what do you want to do are you wanting to go all out, do you want it to be simple?" She wondered.
"I don't know, part of me wants to go all out but knowing my wife she would want simple yet heartfelt." I explained.
"Lauren's very affectionate isn't she?" She asked.
I smiled. "Oh yes, she is very affectionate."
"Then it's probably best you two do something more intimate. I know that you and Lauren have been friends since you were seven so are there any places that are significant to you two?" She quested.
"The most significant place for us was on the roof of my parents home, I proposed to her there but we can't celebrate our anniversary on my parent's roof." I told her.
"Guess we have to think of something else then."
"Well it falls on a weekend, I could ask my dad if we could use one of his rental beach houses and we could just make a weekend of it." I suggested.
"That sounds nice then you can decorate it and make it look nice." She says.
I smiled. "I think that will be perfect actually and it will be like reliving our honeymoon."
