(Completed) Lauren is having a hard time dealing with the sudden death of her husband. She tries to stay strong for their daughter, but keeping it together was harder than she thought it would be. But thank god for Camila, Lauren's best friend who h...
I was picking up the kids from school stopping by Ryland's school first because he gets out before Kenzie and Tatum do. It makes sense because Ryland's school started earlier then theirs does.
After getting Ryland we rode to the girl's school, Ryland helped me with Joey and I put the twins in their stroller and we walked into the building.
We went to Tatum's classroom first and she had a little craft that she did and she was really excited about it. Once we got her we went to Kenzie's classroom where we waited for her class to be dismissed. I was putting a pacifier in Evan's mouth when I seen someone approaching me.
"Hey Lauren."
I looked up to see Erin standing there I hadn't really talk to her since the incident we only conversed when Boone and Kenzie would have a play date but other than that nothing.
"Hi Erin." I greeted.
"How have you been?" She asked.
"I've been good Erin, what about you?" I reiterated.
"Everything's fine taking it one day at a time, I was wondering if one day we could get together and talk." She suggested.
"I don't know about that Erin, I still haven't gotten over what you done." I said honestly.
"That was a mistake Lauren I apologized to both you and Camila, can you just move passed it I would really like to have my friend back." She voiced.
"I can't do that Erin; I don't get how you can just do something like that. You said that it was a mistake but you reacted on impulse which is something I don't understand. Every action has a thought behind it and you would have never done that if you hadn't thought of it before. The bottom line is I don't know what you're capable of I no longer trust you, you could have ruined my family and that's a very big deal to me. I know that you're a good person Erin; I just can't go back to where we were. At least for right now I can't." I told her truthfully.
She nods. "I hate that we can't be friends right now but I do understand where you're coming from." She looked sad.
"Erin you still have a lot of things that you need to work out, so just focus on that right now." I advised.
"You're right." She agreed.
We didn't say anything else to each other because the kids were dismissed when Kenzie came running out I gave her a kiss then we were on our way. Since it was Friday I decided to take the kids to get some ice-cream, I hope that I wasn't biting off more than I could chew by taking six kids to an ice-cream parlor.
It wasn't that bad once we got there and everyone got what they wanted we sat down and they ate their ice-cream happily. We were all sitting at a booth Joey was sitting by me and across from me were Ryland, Tatum, and Kenzie. Evan and Isaac were sleeping in their stroller beside me and it was really peaceful for the most part. In this moment I was very grateful that Camila and I had well behaved kids.
"Mommy, can we get another dog?" Kenzie asked out of the blue.
