Lauren's POV

I have been home with my little prince for a couple days now and things were going great, I thought I would easily get overwhelmed by having two kids but I was fine. Joey was an amazing baby the child doesn't cry which still shocks me, he only cried when he wanted to eat or get changed other than that he was the perfect baby.

McKenzie was doing great also I was afraid her feelings for her little brother would change but they didn't she loved him dearly. She was so excited to see her baby brother when she got home from school and she would help me with everything. She loved holding him and giving him kisses, she would sit right beside me when I breastfed him and she would help me burp him when he was finished. I was surprised by how gentle she was with him I never had to tell her not to do something because she was so well behaved with him.

I think the biggest thing is that I know that there would be none of this sanity if it wasn't for Camila; she was amazing with the baby. There was a great advantage living with a pediatrician when you have kids, she knew every trick in the book. I was with the baby in the daytime by myself because Camila had to work, I told her not to take off of work for me I would be fine alone. She agreed but she called me often throughout the day and would sometimes stop by on her lunch break so that was good.

My mom was over now she loved Joey she helped me out with getting Kenzie from school at least for the rest of this week, I would go back to picking her up next week. I was sitting in my living room and my feet rested on the ottoman petting Milo who sat in the chair with me and we watched TV. I was laughing at the television with Milo when my mom walked in the room holding two plates in her hands.

"What on earth are you watching?" She asked handing me the plate with a sandwich on it.

"It's 'Juno'." I said.

Before my mom sat down she looked at Joey who was sound asleep in his bassinet, then she took her seat and watched the movie while eating her sandwich

Before my mom sat down she looked at Joey who was sound asleep in his bassinet, then she took her seat and watched the movie while eating her sandwich.

"Thanks for the sandwich mom." I thanked her.

"No problem sweetie, so what is this movie about?" She asked curiously.

"It's about a teenage girl who became pregnant then gives her baby up for adoption." I explained over a mouthful of food.

"Oh I see." She looks back at the screen. "She is really immature." My mom commented.

I nod. "Yeah I think that's the point."

My mom stayed quiet for a while watching the movie intently, she never watched things like this so it was really different for her.

"The couple that she's giving her baby to the wife seems prepared but the father is immature much like Juno." She observed. "He really should turn her away when she comes to their house like that, it will make the adoption messy."
