Chapter 4-
Ella's POV-
As there's a knock at the door I see a tall boy with black spikey hair walk through the door. It's Kaz I know him I see him at the comic book store when I take Josh, he's a nice boy.  The girl wasn't as much of a mystery as I excepted: he was Kaz's dream girl Harmonie ombré blonde & brown hair tallish & pregnant she was beautiful. "Hi Mr Matthews I'm Kaz & this is my beautiful girlfriend Harmonie, we're very sorry for being late,"  he explained as Farkle looked back at me grabbing my hand ensuring he wouldn't let Mr Mathews spilt us, I smiled back grateful as ever for Farkle. Mr Matthews saw us & smiled letting us know we weren't being moved. "I can forgive Kaz I forgave Lucas I can forgive you. How about sitting behind Farkle and Ella? Is that okay given your situation Harmonie?" He asks getting a little personal. They both nod hand in hand getting to their seats I knew they were older than us so I wondered why they were here but I knew I should focus on the lesson instead. This being Mr Matthews I thought it wouldn't be continued although it was oddly. "Maya who will you choose as your partner?" He asks getting right back at the before topic, I rub Farkle's shoulder supportively as he smiles. "I choose spikey boing boing!" She says standing up and pointing at Kaz I was thrilled I could work with Farkle but I did feel terrible for Harmonie she'd just got her boyfriend stole by Maya!   turned around to face Harmonie with a smile. "Sorry that Maya stole your boyfriend for a partner Harmonie." I say putting my hand over hers, she smiles acceptingly squeezing my hand back. "It's okay Ella, I don't mind honestly." She replies bravely not knowing how bad Maya is just like us all when we first met her. "Are you working with Farkle?" I smiled widely nodding, I hoped I would. Mr Matthews turned to Riley with a smile. "Who will you be working with?" He asked hoping not Lucas meanwhile I hoped she wouldn't say Farkle.  She thought for a moment looked at Lucas then to Charlie as he waved something but I couldn't quite see what then at Farkle who removed himself from this by pointing to the other boys, much to my relief. Finally after a hard time tossing up her options she actually spoke up. "Dad, I've chosen Charlie." She decides as it worked in my favour. When nobody was looking Farkle & I did a quick high-five before giggling. Following along the row Mr Matthews places his hands on my desk facing me. "Ella, who would you like your partner to be?" He asks me as I look to Farkle whom nods an eager smile. Then my mind was made up I would choose Farkle. "Mr Matthews, I'd like to work with Farkle." I reply as he & Farkle nod pleased with my choice. He quickly moves on to Harmonie who replies before he dare ask the question. "Lucas Frair!" Both Farkle & I sat there open mouthed at how Harmonie knew Lucas's full name & who he was since she and Kaz both missed attendance after that I became suspicious of the two lovebirds...
