"Unicorns don't exist."
"Don't insult my family! If unicorns don't exist then why am I here?" I asked, smirking as I put a hand on my hip.
"Because your parents decided that on this fine day to connect and make-"
"Jungkook, please don't." I sighed. He just shook his head and laughed.
"Anyways, happy birthday Hoseok." He pulled me in for a short hug and I hugged him back.
"Thank you, my dear best friend." I smiled. "So, what did you get me?" I said, excited to find out what he's gotten me this year.
"Hmm, I don't remember where I put your gift..." He trailed off.
My eyes widened and I frowned. "Jeon Jungkook, don't tell me you forgot to buy me a present for my birthday!"
"Did I?" He smirked once more.
I grunted and crossed my arms. "We are no longer best friends." I was about to turn and walk to my room but he stopped me.
"I'm kidding, I'm kidding. I would never forget to buy you a present. You practically live for them." He chuckled.
"What is it, what is it?"
"Here you go." He smiled and handed me a small box.
"Why is it so small?" I whined as I opened it.
"Do you even know what thank you means?" He mumbled, poking my head.
"Thank you!" I smiled and held out the necklace in front of me. "It's so nice!"
"That's because I picked it out." He said. "Here, let me put it on for you." He took it and clasped it around my neck.
"Whoa, I love it." I said as I looked at it from the mirror. I turned to him and hugged him again, thanking him for it.
"It looks great on you." It was like one of those guy necklaces that everyone wore these days.
"There's one thing missing, though." I told him.
"What's missing?"
"CAKE!" I yelled.
