"Who is this?" The voice said.

"Oh hello Namjoon, it's me Hoseok." I answered.

"Hoseok? Oh wait, oh Hoseok! You're Yoongi's friend, right?"

"Yeah, that's me."

"How'd you get my number?"

"I asked Yoongi for it."

"Ah, what did you need me for?" He asked.

"I wanted to ask you about something that happened at the party."

"Is it about the guy that attacked you? I'm terribly sorry about Minho. He's usually like that when he's drunk. Oh and he apologizes too. You know, nobody can control themselves when they're drunk."

"Oh it's alright, I'm over that."

"Oh good."

"Yeah so, I wanted to ask if you know someone with the same last name as me." He stayed silent on the other end. "Namjoon?"

"Look, I have to go, okay? I'll talk to you later."

"Namjoon wait, please." I whispered. Having someone on my mind already.

"This can't be talked about over the phone, Hoseok." He said. "Plus it's not my story to tell."

"What do you mean it's not your story to tell? Whose story is it? Namjoon tell me."

"I've already said too much. I'm sorry, okay? He might tell you when he thinks the time is right."

"He? Who's this he? Do I know him?"

"I have to go. Bye, Hoseok." And he hung up.

"Namjoon? Damn it!" I turned my phone off and threw it against my wall.

"Hoseok, are you okay?" My mom walked in. "Are you crying?"

"Mom." I mumbled. I walked up to her and hugged her.

"What's wrong?" He rubbed circles on my back. I just shook my head. He stayed silent throughout the hug. I let go and sat on my bed. "Honey, I was going to tell you that your father and I were invited over to a friend's house for dinner, would you like to join?"

I shook my head. He just nodded and left my room, telling me that there will be money on the counter if I wanted to order some take out. My parents left shortly after that and I was left home alone.

My phone rang multiple times but I couldn't be asked to pick it up as I thought about my brother. His death wasn't a normal death.

Your brother has passed away, Hoseok.

Your brother is gone.

Stop thinking about him.

Crying won't get him back.

Crying won't change the path the bullet took.

Crying won't revive him.

He's dead and gone, Hoseok. He's dead. And gone. And he's never coming back.

I didn't realize that hours have passed. The only ticket to reality was the sound of the front door opening and closing with a loud slam. I got up and left my room, walking downstairs.

"Hoseok?" A voice yelled.

"Jungkook?" I called out.

"Where are y- Hoseok!" He yelled, running towards me as I descended down the stairs. He instantly hugged me. "Were you crying?"
