"I told you already, it fell from the Eiffel tower." I whined.

As you may remember, I walked into the house to the sound of screaming. I thought something had happened but it turns out, they were mad at me because I wasn't answering my phone. No matter how many times I tell them the truth, they won't believe me.

"Don't lie to me, young man. What have you been doing in France?!" My dad yelled.

"Dad, I'm not even kidding. You can ask my friends, I was trying to take a picture with Yoongi but I accidentally let go and it fell off the other side. I swear to you. Do you really think I'd lie to you guys?" I frowned as I looked at my parents.

They sighed and my mom spoke up. "It's fine, honey. We'll get you a new phone whenever we can."

"You don't have to, I'll work for it."

"No, you should live your life, sweetie. We'll get you a phone, okay?"

I sighed and nodded. I didn't want them to spend money on me. I mean, you should all know that. I don't even like my friends spending money on me. I'd feel too guilty later on.

"Go ahead, I know you're tired. Wash up and head to bed. You can skip school tomorrow too if you're that tired. But only tomorrow."

"No, it's fine. Goodnight."

"Goodnight." They answered back. I hugged them and went upstairs to my room. I decided to unpack tomorrow because I was not in the mood right now. I washed up and changed into some comfy pajamas. I looked at my bed and jumped onto it, sighing in relief.

"Ah, this feels so good." I mumbled before closing my eyes and drifting off into a deep sleep.

**

I felt way more refreshed right now. I woke up with a big smile and looked at the clock on my dresser to check the time. My eyes widened as I noticed that I was super, duper late. It was now one in the afternoon and school will end in like an hour and a half. I groaned and laid back down.

"I wanted to go to school today." I pouted. Why? I wasn't quite sure why. I just felt like it.

Since I couldn't go now, I took a shower and started unpacking my bag. It took me about an hour to put everything back in place.

"I think I'm gonna need to take a shower again after this exercise, dear god." I mumbled to myself.

I walked downstairs and into the kitchen. I sat down and saw my mom cooking. "I turned off your alarm."

"What? Why did you do that?" I frowned.

"You mean you were actually thinking about going to school? Are you crazy?"

"Yes, maybe I am." I huffed as I stuffed a waffle in my mouth. "This tastes so good."

"I know, because I made it." My mom rolled her eyes. The bell rang and she turned to me. "Could you get that, please?"

"Sure." I said as I hopped off the seat and trudged to the front door.

What I wasn't expecting though, was Yoongi standing there with bloodshot eyes and tears rolling down his cheeks.

"Yoongi?" I looked at him, confused. What happened? "What's wrong? Why are you cr—"

He cut me off by pulling me closer and hugging me. I was squished, to say the least. I hugged him back, still confused as to why the hell he was crying and hugging me.

"I hate you so much." He mumbled, pulling me closer. If that was even possible.

"I'm lost." I said.

"I thought I lost you."

"What do you mean?"

"I thought I fucking lost you."

"Yoongi, please explain— oh." I realized something. "I didn't call you last night, did I?"

"No and you didn't fucking show up at school, either."

"I'm so sorry." I frowned. I rubbed his back. "It slipped my mind. And my mom turned off my alarm clock so I couldn't wake up for school."

"I'm just glad you're alive. I thought something happened to you last night. I should've dropped you off. Then I wouldn't be like this right now, I'd actually know that you're okay. But no, I left and—"

I pressed my lips onto his and he instantly shut up, kissing me back. It wasn't a long kiss, it was short and sweet. A little hint of passionate, too. I pulled away and smiled at him.

"I'm okay. Don't cry." It warmed my heart to know that he'd actually go this far if I was missing.

"I feel like such a girl."

"Maybe you're transgender." I laughed, wiping his tears away for him.

"Was it too obvious? What gave it away?" He smiled back. His perfect gummy smile that always makes my heart flutter.

"How'd you come? There's like an hour left for school."

"I snuck out."

"What?! What if you were caught?!"

"I don't care. I thought my boyfriend was missing so that's a good enough excuse to leave school."

I still get butterflies whenever he says boyfriend.

"Wanna come in? My mom made waffles."

"Yes, please. I'm starving."
