Halloween Special

"I'm gonna be the Phantom of the Opera how 'bout you?" Alan asked me as we walked down the road to meet up with Nifer and Owen at school "I'm thinking either Edward J. Smith, the ill fated captain of the Titanic, or my Minecraft characrer, which would be alot easier" I replied "Cool" Alan said "that would be alot easier" and we walked into the school.

The hall was plastered with posters telling everyone about the Halloween party/dance that was on friday, which just so happened to be the 13th They did that on purpose I thought as we met up with the other two, who where also talking about costumes "I'm being Greaser from the 50's" Owen was telling Nifer and she laughed "I can see how that wouldn't work" "I agree" I said and Owne looked around to see us walking over to them "But I now have a improtant thing to say" and we all formed a huddle sort of thing "I think we should do a Halloween Special of OLA" and they all agreed quickly "Brilliant" I said and we all went to our lockers.

Sitting in science was my usual routine in the class, I finished quickly and got to sit and observe everybody else whilst they frantically tried to finish before the bell rang. Alan on my left was scribbling and away and the guy on my right was chewing the rubber end of his pencil, apparently deep in thought, I doubted it though, I sighed and glanced towards the clock on the wall as it ticked closer and closer to the end of the day "Hurry up" I muttered and hunched back over my paper and began to sketch, it ended up being a drawing of Duncan's character in Mobcast, it looked good according to Alan by I thought something was missing "It's not really important" I said to myself and nearly had a heart attack when the bell rang. I grabbed up my stuff, told the others the time for the Halloween Special and raced to my dads car and we headed for Yogtowers.

"Hello! And Welcome to Yogscast Junior." I said as the intro and the other punched the air and laughed "It may look like we got infested by cobwebs and pumkins but no, we just decorated for halloween" I continued and we played for about an hour before I said I thought we had enough footage and we all logged out but talked on skype for another hour "Hey Nifer, you never told us what your being at the dance" I said and she looked slightly sheepish then answered "Well..." she started "I thought because of my hair I'd be Zoey's Minecraft character" she said "That's gonna look awesome" Alan said and I could see Nifer give a pixilated smile. "Crap!" Owen said and I saw him glace at his wrist "Guys the party's in 30 minutes we gotta get ready" "See you there" I said and I left Skype.

I walked slowly into the large gym where the party was being held, putting on my captains hat as I went. When I entered I saw Alan, he had slicked back his hair and was wearing tails and a white mask covering half of his face, he was taking to the black haired boy who had opened the door on my first day at school. I laughed when I saw that the boy was dressed as Will Riker from Star Trek "Whats so funny?" I heard a voice behind me and turned to see Owen with slicked back hair and wearing jeans and a leather jacket, sipping a drink "Oh, just a guys costume" I replied "James'?" Owen asked, pointing to the black haired boy I was laughing about "Actually yeah" I said "How'd you guess" "I know who he's dressed as" Owen said, raised his eyebrows, ginned then walked off "I guessed to" I said to myself and walked over to Nifer, who was hard not miss, bright red hair and wearing a cape "Hiya!" she said brightly "Hi. Nice costume" I said "Thanks! Who are you again?" she asked "Captain of the Titanic" I said and she nodded

I was standing in a corner, sipping a drink and watching Owen talking to Nifer, I clenched my fist a bit and my heart felt as if someone was ringing in out like a rag when Nifer blushed at something my blonde friend had said "Something bothering you?" I heard Alan say and looked to my left "No" I said tightly and un-clenched my fist "Yes there is" he said and followed my gaze "No!" Alan said with a grin "you like Nif" "I don't" I protested but he kept going on about it, I put my drink on a nearby table "It's late" I said "see you tomorrow" and I started to walk away, but before I reached the doors my ears went red at Alan saying "See ya lover boy"
