1.0: A Midsummer Night's Sweetness

"Eomma,"

You are looking after Seunghee while she swims near the shore while S.coups lies on the sand with his arm covering his eyes.

"Yes, Seunghee?"
"Let's cover appa with sand!" She said smiling.

You thought of disagreeing but when you looked at S.coups and realized he was the one who planned this, you nodded. Seunghee ran to him and quickly gathered sand to cover S.coups.

"AH! AHHH!!! SEUNGHEE! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" S.coups shouted and immediately sat up when he felt the sand Seunghee threw on him. You can't help but laugh at him as you walked towards them.
"Appa, we'll cover you with sand!" She kneeled beside him waiting for you.
"Let her. It's pretty boring in your apartment you know." She said finally reaching them.

He looked at you then at Seunghee then back at you. He sighed and lied down again.

"Fine."

Seunghee cheered. You two started covered his body with sand. You took a few glances at S.coups every now and then. And every single time you look at him, he's already looking at you so you always immediately look away.

After some time, the three of you just played with the sand. You tried building sandcastles but failed. You were all smiling and laughing the whole time. You actually look like a happy family especially with Seunghee calling you appa and eomma.

"Ok. Ok. I think we should go now." S.coups suddenly said.
"What?! But appa, we just came here!" Seunghee started stomping her feet.
"Seunghee-ya, we've been here for two hours already. We need to go or you'll get a cold." He's right. The seawater is really cold, too cold for all of you to stay longer in the water.
"But I want to swim!!!"
"We'll come back. We need to go now whether you like it or not." S.coups carried her away from the water.

Seunghee kept punching S.coups for not letting her to stay but you know he's right. He's just being a good uncle. You followed them to a rent house. Before you entered the shower room, Seungcheol offered you a towel.

"I checked your things early. You forgot your towel. Use mine. I'll just put Seunghee to sleep."

You nodded and he left. You stared at the towel thinking he cares for you before taking a shower and changing.

Seunghee is asleep again on your way home. She ate too much of the lunch S.coups prepared for the three of you. It's starting to get dark. The radio is on and a familiar beat started playing. You immediately looked at Seungcheol who was already looking at you.

"Mudeoum bam, jameun oji anko~" You started singing with Vernon's voice rapping through the radio.

Seungcheol smiled and listened to you sing. He tapped his fingers and bobbed his head with the beat. His part came and he started rapping with it. You sang Yoo Ara's parts and he rapped all the rap parts until the song ended. The two of you looked at each other after, smiling.

"Y/N, what more can I ask for?" He held your hand and kissed it.

In case you don't know, the song you sang is A midsummer night's sweetness originally by Raina and San E. The hiphop team performed it and had a version of it featuring former Hello Venus leader Yoo Ara. You sang that version.

I don't care if you have a bad voice or a good one. Everyone has the right to sing if they want to as long as it doesn't hurt anyone. And, I know your voice isn't a murderer!
