Chapter 7- Can't be trusted


Every once in a while people can't be trusted. Right? Some people break promises, break relationships and more. But nothing can compare to someone hurting how you feel. Am I right?


They can give you negative language. Say things behind your back. Make you do things you are told not to, vice versa....


Well that's how I feel. I can't trust anyone. I can't put another life in danger. I can't risk it. I walked in school, looking like a zombie. Why? I couldn't go to bed without thinking about 'them'. Ugh, why is life so hard.


"Rose! Rose!" I turned around and saw Connor running towards me. I watched him, as he ducked his fangirls and waved at his friends before he finally reached me. He was puffing. I raised an eyebrow. "Yes?" I asked. He held up his pointer finger, still puffing. Meaning 'hold'. I chuckled at him. He looked up at me, smiling like a cat- from Alice in Wonderland.


"What?" I asked smiling. Maybe I should give him a chance. Just maybe. He snaked an arm around my waist before smashing me between him. I automatically placed my hands on his chest. "Your so beautiful" he whispered in my ear, before tucking a strand of hair behind my ear. I immediately felt the sparks. I felt his body produce warmth, radiating from him. I shivered, he must have noticed because now, he's grinning.


I felt the heat on my cheeks. If possible, he pulled me closer. We were centimeters away, he leaned in a little, decreasing the distance from both of us. I can feel my heart beating ten times more than moderate beat. I didn't even notice, that I was also leaning in. We could be girlfriend and boyfriend, maybe I should accept him.......


"Hey guys!"


Or we can be interrupted and act like we were innocent. I turned my head and found a happy James walking towards us. Connor still as close. I stepped away from him, walking towards James.

Me and Connor haven't talked to each other since that morning. I haven't seen him all day, I would be lying if I said I don't miss him. I'm currently in Geography. Ugh.


RING. RING. RING.


Finally. I closed all my books before dumping them in my bag. Yep, you read it, DUMP. Anyways, I walked out of the class and made my way to Gym. On the way, I bumped in to a muscular wall. A very muscular wall. Looking up, my breath hitched.


Connor.


Why do I always bump into him? Not that I'm complaining. "Connor.." I finally breathed out. He stayed silent, looking down to my lips then slowly, ever so slowly, his eyes met mine. "I cant.." He trailed off. I gave him a confused look. "What do you mean?" I asked, whispering in his ear. I could feel his heart beat.


"I can't hold back any more Rose" before I can ask what he meant, he snaked an arm around my waist and brought me closer. We looked into each other's eyes, then the unexpected happened. He kissed me. What's even worse?


I kissed back. I could feel him smiling through the kiss, our lips moulded together, his scent drove my wolf crazy. His lips left little tingles on mine. Sparks and fireworks were everywhere. There was only one word- magical.


My hands slowly wrapped around his neck, clinging on to him as If I would fall. I felt......alive. I felt whole. My wolf howled inside, well that was before Connor pulled back. I copied. He looked down at me, with nothing else but.....love.


"What's going on here?"


Sure ruin the moment will you? Note the sarcasm. I turned to my right and found, a very, very confused James. Oh boy...
