Chloè had waited her entire life for her to turn 12. Once you passed the age of 12, you could be kidnapped and brought to the legendary School for Good and Evil. Since she turned 12 two years ago, she had begun doing "good deeds" to insure her place in the School for Good. Her best, she thought, was befriending the witch who lived on Graves Hill. Chloè quickly made her way up the horrible and stinky stairs to the door. She quickly knocked, wincing when the black paint came in contact with her perfectly manicured nails. "Mari?" She called sweetly. "It's me! You're best friend!" "You're not my best friend." The voice on the other side grumped. "Who is then?" Chloè shot back. "Plagg?" "Well he doesn't make false promises and test makeup and hair products on me." Chloè rolled her eyes. "One last day before I'm kidnapped. Which means one more day and I'm gone forever. Now open the door before Plagg gauges my eyes out." The door swung open.
