2. Must've Saw Something Scary

I woke up in a cell. Yes a cell. You do not know how pissed I was. Though it wasn't my first time in one, I was at least hoping that I'd be welcomed in a warm bed, seeing as I gracefully and unthreatenigly handed myself over.

Guess who I was in a cell with. Yeah you guessed it, Ben. Surprisingly, Ben was being a good little boy and hadn't said a word since he'd been dumped in here with me. I was grateful for that. Other than the occasional groans from both of us as the silver cuffs dug into our ankles and wrists, it was quiet.

Then there were the times of great grief, when someone was dragged from their cells by their hair, knowing that they were going to die. I can only hope I don't make it on that list. To assure that, that was the main reason I kept my mouth shut for this long. I'm normally never quiet. I would've been saying a lot of shit to the guards if I didn't know that the punishment for that would be death. I might have a crappy life, but I value what's left of it.

"Hey!" I shout, finally having enough of this, "Get me hell out of here!" I could easily break the chains if I wanted to. I've done it many times before. Since I was younger I realized that I was stronger than the average werewolf. Much stronger.

"Shut up or I'll come in there and do it for you." One of the guards hiss in my direction.

"If no one informed you, I handed myself over! I did! If I wanted to be thrown into a fricken shit hole, I would've hid in my parents basement!" I shout, earning numerous chuckles throughout the makeshift prison.

Seconds later a guard came to my cell with a set of keys. He jiggled it a couple of times before slamming the cell door open, sending a loud clang echoing through the room. He walked over to me with the keys and crouch down next to me on the concrete, "It's your lucky day kid." He says while working on the shackles on me. "The Alpha wants to see you." He says, unlocking the last silver shackle on my wrist. I rub at the red marks around my wrist, watching as they slowly disappear. "You heal pretty fast." He says, eyebrows furrowing as he frowned.

I pull myself to my feet, stretching and letting out a groan at the feeling of my bones popping deliciously. I let out blissful sigh, "I'm aware." I adjust my clothing before reaching down to retrieve my leather jacket that I'd have to take off because of the heat. I busy myself by shoving my arms through the sleeves of my jacket while asking, "Now what would dear ol' Ace want with me."

I heard a loud growl and I'm being slammed into the wall, "That's Alpha to you!" The guard snarls in my face.

I smirk at him, Dee, do you hear this?, I ask Dakoda amusingly.

She lets out a mocking scoff, Loud and clear.

I stare him down for a second, "I'm my own alpha, pup." I snarl right back, allowing Dakoda to take over for a second. My canines extend, longer than most others, and my eyesight sharpening as I feel all the blood rush to my eyes. I growl, snapping my canines at him. He quickly takes multiple steps back as he stares at my face in horror. As soon as he realizes what he's seeing, it's gone. Dakoda retreated to the back of my mind once more. She knows better than to take over completely. We both know nothing good comes from that.

My eyes meet Ben's as he scurried into a corner, his eyes focused on me as if he's waiting for me to attack and rip his throat out. I let out a snicker. He's lucky we never did that all those years back, Dakoda snarls, making me throw my head back laughing. I sober up, sending them a smirk before exiting the cell.

As I'm making my way to the large metal door at the end of the dark hallway, someone snarled my name, "Onyx." It was full of so much hatred and envy, I could feel it from where I was standing.

I slowly turned, seeing the blonde haired, brown eyed girl almost pushing her head through the bars just to give me a good glare - hateful and envious. It's a pity I don't feel the same way.

I smirk at her mockingly, "Sister."

"Wasn't a guard supposed to escort you?" Came from behind me. I smiled at the familiar voice.

I turn to him with greeting, "Blue Eyes." I grin at him when he chuckles lowly. "I'm very capable of making my way to your leader."

He raises his eyebrows at me, "You mean our leader?"

I look at him, shaking my head, "I don't think so." I whisper loudly before making my way around his large frame.

I was walking away again when, "Sh-She's..."

My eyes narrow as I turn on my heels again, staring down the same guard as he tried to approach Blue Eyes. There was nothing but fear across his features but he stopped his advance when his eyes connected with mine - daring him to say another word. He seemed to get the silent message because his hand fell limply and he adverted his eyes to the floor. I could see his form shaking from where I stood and lifted my head proudly.

Blue Eyes, who's back was turned to me, turned to look at me in confusion and I stared back at him innocently. When he was done analyzing me, he turned back to the guard in confusion, "What is it Fred?" He asks, deciding not to frighten the poor guy anymore than he already is.

Fred looked up at him, then his eyes snapped to mine, acknowledging the warning that was still there, then back to his. He swallowed slowly, "N-Nothing Sir." He says, almost steadily.

Blue Eyes stood there for a couple of seconds, confused with Freddy's behavior before giving the warrior a nod and turning his back on him.

He walked cautiously over to me, "What was that?"

I shrugged, acting indifferent, "He must've saw something scary." I turn once more with a smirk on my lips.
