"Are you mocking me?" my opponent with long brick red hair asked me, a warning tone in his voice as if he was intimidating me to say no. Well lucky him, that's not the reason why.

"Nope, it's just that I'm not used to armors left and yeah, I'd like to move freely without armors so I do hope you'd understand." I retaliated as I tested the spear in my hand and threw a glare towards Rex.

He was seating between Muriel and an elder man I recognized as Lord Azrael of the High Court when Cyan pulled off his illusion magic and we faced the leaders of the council of this world.

Man, I couldn't cope up with things in this world. It feels like time runs slowly here----- wait, of course it does, if one day passed here, four days was the equivalent on Earth. I feel like I'm inside a show involving magic and this is all an act.

Problem is, I know too well that it ain't. This world known as Azeroth, these people who live here like in the older era's in Earth with a monarchy along with a king and queen, people who bear powers, and me having a duel right now is all real.

Damn that eleven year old kid, he gave me a spear that was twice as heavy as the metal one he gave me yesterday. What the hell? He just gave a challenging smirk which made me narrow my eyes more.

"Don't remove your eyes from your opponent, much less from your sight of view." I heard Jack say and I quickly jumped back, just in time to evade the sharp blade of the ax shaped part of his halberd. I think I want that weapon instead.

The blade whistled through the air, thankfully missing me as the sharp edge glinted brightly in the sun light. He grasped the halberd back in the middle as he stood, glowering at me, his eyes glinting with malice and his lips forming a twisted grin, instantly, I understood.

I understood why the other rankers hated this guy and wanted him kicked out of their group. He looked like a good-for nothing trouble maker who finds pleasure in beating other people inferior to him. A sadist one if I'm correct.

I readied myself, gripping the golden blade in my hands as I watched his every move and not letting any single movement going unnoticed.

First one who hits, has the higher chance of controlling the game, I think I would do just that. Balancing myself and placing my feet on the earth for a more comfortable angle, I launched myself, twirling the spear above me with my fingers, I struck down hard, aiming for his head.

I anticipated that he wouldn't go down easily so I wasn't that much surprised when he quickly raised the halberd up to meet my spear with a single hand. The metal and gold clanged together, making a loud noise as I felt the strong vibration.

His cocky grin was pasted there like it was permanent and he tilted his halberd to the side, my spear sliding down and he quickly moved to strike my left rib with his foot.

Seeing the attack, I jumped, using my spear like a pole as I threatened to kick him flat on the head. He ducked, his sharp halberd sweeping the air and striking, using some gold metal bracelets under my sleeves that Rex gave me earlier, I used it as a shield before I landed on the ground.

I grimaced at the pain the impact caused but that didn't stop me from swiping my feet on the ground aiming to make him fall. As high as a frog could jump, he evaded it as I jumped back, my eyes trained on him.

"Not bad." He commented with a satisfied grin on his face and I gave him a similar one.

"You're not bad yourself." I answered as I attacked.

"Whoah." I reacted, clearly impressed by how things happened and I gave Muriel a glance, seeing her expression, I chuckled.
