We all rushed up immediately towards them, her terrorized screams filling our ears as we stopped around her. Mean while, Prince Janus had fallen unconsciously and his skin was a deathly pale color. The girl's scream was drowning every other noise as they pierced the air around.

"Muriel! Hey! Wake up!" Alfreed snapped and tried to shake her shoulders but the fourth ranker's screams didn't falter, instead, they grew louder. Her eyes filled with terror as if she couldn't hear us or even see us at all.

What was she seeing. What was she afraid off? My eyes searched for anything possible to send her to that state but I couldn't see or feel anything. If it was a demon who has turned invisible, I should've sensed but I didn't. Besides, the barrier was set up and is impossible for demons to break unless four class SS rankers or a demon of higher rank chooses to do it.

But as far as I know, there wasn't any demon as strong as that to have escaped to Earth from Azeroth since they will only grow weak when away from their home continent.

"Big sister!" Kevin tried this time as he worriedly held her sister's hand but it had no effect at all. Her appearance only made us worry more. The girl was in a bad state and it clearly says that she might have battled the prince while they were in the sphere.

Her cheeks began bleeding, as if someone with sharp claws grasped her there and besides that, other parts of her body were filled with cuts just the same and some looked deep as blood profusely flowed out of them.

She needs to be healed immediately before she looses too much blood. It won't be good for her.

"All of you back away and give her air." Leirum suddenly declared and we looked at him as he stepped forward. Nodding, Alfreed carried the protesting twelfth ranker as the first ranker stepped forward.

He took Muriel's hand away from Prince Janus' as he nodded at us to take away the prince which we obeyed and Rex rushed to check out the prince's condition.

Everyone was stupefied at the fact that the prince returned to his former self and didn't turn completely into a demon. None in Azeroth's history spoke about someone infected by darkness that can be purified.

It was always tried but always failed so how... How did Muriel turn him back and reverse the curse? The only ones who can purify souls that was recorded in Azeroth's history were angels that deemed those they have saved to be worthy of saving.

Muriel was definitely no Angel, if she wore, she won't get hurt or need food at all. Angels are divine beings that don't need any material things.

Our eyes went wide when Leirum suddenly slapped Muriel on the face making the girl's face turn to the side and our jaws dropped as he firmly cupped a hand around the girl's face, Ignoring the fact the girl had wounds on her cheeks.

Successfully though, Muriel's screams ceased almost immediately as her gaze slowly trained on the first Lord's face. Her contacts had fallen off and we can see those sapphire eyes with dots of gold as her eyes pooled with unshed tears.

"You----"

"Wake up you troublesome girl, don't let that little brain of yours wander off." Leirum said with that poker-faced facade of his as his hand cupping the girl's face went up and he ruffled Muriel's blonde hair and the girl suddenly broke down sobbing.

"I-I---- *hik* Prince Janus... Prince Narus---those scientists---I- the royal guards and the children--I couldn't" Muriel started speaking while sobbing and we couldn't understand what she was saying but we stiffened at the words she said that were filled with horror and pain.
