"How is my son?" King Decameron asked immediately as soon as he came inside the quarter we were in. We stood up and bowed to him in respect despite the protests of our body. He was the imperial king and not showing respect is teacherous and insolent.

"Please rest." He waved and we took his offer as we slumped down in our beds. Yeah, exactly twelve beds were brought here in this spacious chamber to accomodate all of us even though if the two weren't here.

The healers had advised us to take our rest but we refused to leave the three unconscious kids alone even if they tried to assure us that there were royal guards to make sure that they would all be fine.

We didn't want to leave and refused firmly because we didn't and we couldn't leave them alone after everything that had happened. We just couldn't and too much had already happened for us to let our guards down.

And due to that, they brought the beds here instead which was a bit funny but we didn't have enough enthusiasm to laugh at it at the moment with our given situation. It was courteous of them to do that so we never forgot to gave them our thanks, asking for pardon if we couldn't express our gratitude well.

"He's fine now your majesty. He appears to have passed out after spending all of his energy." Leo reassured while he sat next to the sleepy Violet who was leaning against him with her eyes drooping. It was clear that the purple headed girl was just as tired as any of us here. All of us was.

We merely watched as King Decameron sat by Shingu's side and silently brushed the kid's hair back in silence as he gazed at his son with worry in his eyes along with guilt and a flash of self-hate and we understood where it was all coming from.

The king was still a loving father and anyone who hadn't been with their child for three years would feel the same way especially when he had to worry for Shingu's sake all the while, given that the kid left his father's side at the age of five which was still hard for us to perceive.

The others were just silent and glanced at each other warily, noticing that the head of the high court wasn't with the imperial king, we deducted that maybe for once, he was somewhere in the kingdom to do his job properly and seriously due to the circumstances.

Dawn was just two hours away yet we were still awake in silence... Silently and wishfully waiting for our two other friends to return back to us.

We wouldn't be able to sleep anyway even if we were tired beyond belief. We were too worried to even do so.

"So anyway, now that we're here and it seems that we have no plans on sleeping, mind spilling the beans now Castello brothers?" Alfreed spoke, breaking the silence and our eyes drifted to Leo who sighed and then our eyes went to the other two.

The twins were both on another bed which was supposed to be Leo's but given that their older brother was with Violet, there was no arguments there.

Cassiel and Gabriel both sat up and leaned against the headboard of their beds, gazing off into the distance and sighing deeply at the same time. Geeez, yeah they're brothers but do they really even have to do things at the same time?

"Rex isn't our real brother. If anything, he is our cousin." Gabriel declared and we can't stop our violent reactions because of what was stated.

"What?!" We screamed, Cyan looking as shocked as well and King Decameron himself was just as astounded. What was this madness even about?
