My hands were sweating as I walked towards the arena. If ever the crowds were noisy or yelling booo's or whatever, I didn't hear for all I can hear is the loud beating of my heart inside my chest.

Looking ahead, I saw Lydia, the fourth ranker with her body armor, sheathed sword and bow on her hands, a scowl on her lips and a deadly glare in her eyes. If looks could kill, I may have dropped dead already.

Looking up, I saw the twelve up there. They were giving pats on the back to Kevin and Jack. Yeah, he wasn't that bad like I had expected. Moreover, he looked like he switched personalities and the rankers quickly got acquainted with the newborn guy or whatsoever.

The other ten looked like they never had any problems with him at all. Ugh, I wish Lydia was like her. But even if the world turns upside down, I think there's zero possibility at all.

I breathed in the air filled with tension before I stopped in front of her, just a few meters away.

Her waist length hair was tied back in a high pony tail and her bow was gripped tightly in her right hand, she was mad, really mad and I don't know why at all.

"You troublesome stupid girl, you'll pay for everything." She hissed at me. I know I was supposed to get scared with the tone she was using but when I heard what she said, the blood rushed to my head and I gritted my teeth. She reminds me of that jerk.

"Don't call me that. And, I haven't done anything wrong! You were the one who just came Yesterday and shot off an arrow towards me! If I didn't accidentally pass out, I would've been dead!" I hissed back at her.

"And I wished you just died then." she spat back with venom and I scrunched my nose as I glared daggers.

"What the hell is your problem?!" I hissed and pointed a finger at her, my eyes widened with anger.

"My problem? It's your existence." Knocking an arrow on her bow, she scowled. Just what the hell does this girl have against me?!

I unsheathed both of my swords, all the nervousness gone and replaced with a thirst to teach this girl a lesson.

She released the bow and I knew it was aimed for my head. I angrily cut the arrow in two pieces as I charged at her.

"You know what? I hate you." I growled while chasing after her and cutting off the arrows she sent my way. She was running towards a boulder while letting arrows fly towards my direction every now and then and it was pissing me off big time.

"You coward! Stop running and start fighting!" I yelled as I avoided three consecutive arrows.

She jumped on the boulder and faced me. Knocking three arrows on her bow and forming daggers out of ice at her sides, she gave me a grin.

"Let's see you dance." She said and sat down much to my annoyance.

The numerous number of daggers flew towards me and I began slashing and evading. When I managed the last one though, I was out of breath and sweat beaded my forehead.

I hate dancing as much as I hate b!tches and a deadly dance is way more hateful than the other two.

After the rain of ice daggers though, continuous arrows flew and they were more troublesome as I evaded and took cover behind a tree. If this keeps up-----

I moved aside just in time. An ice dagger that came from above pierced the earth halfway which was basically some inches deep.

When I looked up, I watched in horror as I saw a thousand daggers out of ice in the air, half a hundred feet from the ground, their deadly tips pointed down towards me. Oh hell.
