         Muriel

A week had already passed after our loss. Leirum took care of everything that was needed to be taken care off.

The sleeping beauty's---- the sleeping prince's had also finally woken up and so did Prince Janus who woke up just Yesterday but was still confined in bed since he was yet to regain his energy.

He removed Prince Narsus' blood from the humans and he altered everyone's memories in the city within a night and removed any trace about us or what appeared on television and everything that might give us away, it was an incredulous thing but we were too struck with grief to even care.

For a week, we were thankful enough as to be excused from school after a proper ceremony for Harumi's passing and for Lord Shamash who had passed away earlier as a royal knight of Idris.

As of now, we were gathered at the living room, we all knew that we had to move on and stop moping around even though it's easier said than done.

Ryouta didn't act any different although he wasn't the usual glutton. Mikael was no different. They were all dead silent. Imagine waking up and the first thing you have to know was that a friend had passed away because she and another girl was killed by a demon.

Though it was clear that Mikael's memories had returned to him, he kept quiet about it and he and Ryouta hadn't actually spoke to each other yet.

It didn't help Prince Narsus at all since we heard that he had locked himself up inside his room for days, probably regretting going off to the human world and everything that had happened after even though no one was blaming him for anything.

       The boy wasn't at fault...

We sat on the couches, facing each other, silence enveloping all of us as we stayed by each other's side, staring off into space when a thought occured to me but Leirum decided to break the silence.

"In two weeks. We will be heading to Triumvia ,the vanishing island so all of you should be prepared by then. Physically and mentally." He said in a loud clear voice, emphasizing what he wanted everyone to understand as we quietly listened to him.

"I don't know what that girl saw that would help in what we will be facing but we have to take risks, even if it means that we'll be entering demon territory. I don't want anyone dying." He said as he stared blankly at the book he had in hand.

For the first time in forever, a laugh was heard and we all looked at Alfreed who was grinning from ear to ear.

"What'd you know. The cold hearted lord cares for us! Aweee how sweet!" Alfreed teased and grinned as the others giggled, along with me when we saw Leirum's ear tips become a furious red color even though he kept his face blank and enigmatic as usual.

"Shut up you red head. Tsk, being so catched so easily, where was your dignity as the untamable ranker as how you called yourself?" The first ranker shot back as Alfreed growled. We were all giggling by then to ourselves as we watched the two argue and bicker at each other.

         "Shut up------"

*bang!* the door was flung open as the Castello twins, Cassiel and Gabriel came rushing inside. They immediately dashed towards their two brothers and embraced them so tight that we laughed at Leo and Rex's faces.

"Are you two alright?" Cassiel asked worriedly as Rex struggled from his death grip.

"Can't breathe!" Leo and Rex both rasped out at the same time and to their thanks, the twins did let them go.
