Maya looks down in disappointment. "I should probably stop trying."

"Do as you feel just don't see this as the end of the world. We still have a lot of growing up to do Maya." Riley reassures.

"Yeah you're right."she fake smiles."About that Lucas kid, Did you get to talk to him?"

"Yeah. He's quite nice and I like him very much."Riley admits.

"Oh lala Riley has got the hots for Lucas."Maya jokes around.

"Please don't use that word. It's a crush." She corrects her.

"Same thing riles."she rolls her eyes.

"Where are we going? I thought we were going to your house?" Maya asks confused.

"No I actually wanted to go to the train station. I have a feeling that the world wants us there."

"You and your superstitions."Maya mumbles.

"I have a really good feeling about it."

As they wait for the train to settle through Maya looks at her phone to see the time.

"Two more hours till curfew." She points out.

The train appears and makes a stop.

Riley and Maya get on and Riley sees Lucas. "Well you were right riles."

"Ain't I always?"Riley smiles.

Maya turns to the side and sees Josh and that college girl sitting together. She can't help but listen in on their conversation.

"So maybe we could do this again sometime?"Josh flirts.

"Im just a tourist and your three years younger than me." Claire gets up and walks off when the train stops at the next route.

Maya smirks and sits next to him. "She used the three year age difference too?"

"Yeah."He sighs.

"Well how could I not sympathize with that?"She says sarcastically.

"How do you handle that?" He looks at her.

"Well I have this sadness but it's locked in a dungeon. Sort of like how your book is in yours."She smirks.

"Yeah? Go on."He chuckles.

"Well I cloud it away and think of the positives thanks to Riley."

"Riley is someone you should always keep in your life."

"Yeah. We even each other out."She smiles.

She notices Riley fall into Lucas' lap and kiss him.

Maya looks back at Josh and catches him still staring at her.

"In the history of love three years isn't so bad." She whispers.

Josh looks down and sighs.

"Maya I just don't see you like that okay?"He stands up as the train stops.

"I understand." Maya felt her heart break hearing those words.

"Cmon kiddies lets go." Josh walks off.
