What a rush

"You sure this is gonna work?"Riley sighs.

"Wasn't that a good plan? Make Maya think I'm getting married?"Josh looks at her.

"But your messing with Mariah's feelings."Riley mumbles.

"That whole change thing is fake."He shrugs.

"I truly believe she's being truthful.." Riley assures him.

"and I believe that anything that comes out of her mouth is a lie. Now call Maya." Josh starts to get annoyed.

Riley glares at him and dials Maya's number.

After a few rings maya answers.

"What riles? You know the drill. Texting only."Maya rolls her eyes.

"I know but this is important.."

"What could be so important that you have to call me?"Maya sighs.

"Uncle Josh proposed to Mariah."

"Wait w-what?"Maya's eyes widen.

"Last night. He proposed and she said yeah.."

Maya frowns. "I-I have to go."She hangs up on Riley and turns to Aaron.

"What's wrong?"He looks at her worriedly.

"J-Josh is getting married...I have to go."Maya says in shock.

"Of course.."Aaron mumbles sarcastically.

Maya gets close to him. "Why are you talking to me like that?"

Aaron moves away from her. "It's over."

"W-what?"

"This was the last time. I've been the nicest and a gentlemen to you. You obviously don't take an interest in that. Just...don't talk to me anymore."He looks down.

"A-Aron...please don't say that..I have feelings for you."

"But you have stronger feelings for him."He turns his back to her trying to hold in tears.

"I-I'm s-so s-sorry.."She hiccups.

"You can leave now."He snaps and walks away from her.

Maya puts her hands in her face and sobs.

She grabs her bag and rushes out the door.
